All that's left is 6 robot characters who have all been treated like fodder already, and two mysterious bugs and 1 small blue guy.
The robot universe is the one, I have the biggest issue with. None of their characters had any significance yet, 5 of the remaining 6 of them have already been humiliated (Base Vegeta tanked the Attack mode punches and then beat the police guy up and 17 did beat one robot unconscious off-screen, Caulifla threw 3 of them away without any effort). Why are they still around? Why can't one of them be strong and defeated by Toppo or Dyspo so that there is some sense of them not being useless? The poor utilization of the battle royal setting is astonishing. Apparently, Vegeta, Freeza, Toppo, Dyspo, Jiren, the bugs, the small blue guy, the 3 robots that might fuse and the engineer are just in Standby mode the whole time. I thought Freeza loves torturing people. Why can't we have him throw out the useless characters one by one and get to the important fights?

Ignoring these two how many universes are left in the ToP?
Yeah for real, I lost track a long time ago, if someone can whip out that handy participants left guide that would be neat
Here's a thread dedicated to it:

It says U2 still has three fighters, U3 six, U4 three, U7 seven, and U11 three.

Thinking about it, the character that could probably most easily learn and master ultra instinct is Uub. He's so adept at learning, he learns to fight as he fights Goku. And we all know the original Buu had the uncanny ability to immediately master any move or technique after seeing it once.

All of a sudden, Goku wanting to meet and fight Uub makes sense again.

Uub is going to be buffed, thats for sure.

IIRC When Goku visits Bulma again Bulma says that Goku was doing "training trips", that could be a good excuse to insert Goku training with the Saiyan Girls and also with other people like Hit, Trio de Dangers, Jiren, etc during those 5 years.

The Post ToP stuff has more potential then the ToP itself.

The ToP arc should have taken place at EoZ. If done right, it would have been the perfect chance to develop Uub, while not taking the spotlight from characters like Goku and Vegeta, as well as creating genuine tension since we wouldn't already know everyone is going to be fine. Of course, given how things are atm with Goku, Uub probably would not get any screen time anyways.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

I doubt U6 will be gone forever. My lucky guess is at the end of the Tournament, some type of deal will be made to bring back one or two Universes. U6 and U11 being brought back seems likely since they hinted the idea of a Planet Sadala trip and some of the U6 characters are too popular to get rid of. Same goes with U11 since they will probably use Jiren and the Pride Troopers again in the near future.

Monaka is a character I totally forgot about. Goku not even mentioning him when they were choosing the fighters during the recruitment stage leads me to believe he found out the truth about Monaka off-screen.

No, it doesn't. Why would Goku care about boy that is at least Kid Boo-tier when he had met God Of Destructions, Angels, strong guys from other universes and the Grand Priest that are worlds and worlds above that level? It doesn't make a f***** sense and before you say: "Oh but he wants Oob because of his potential, remember Freeza, 4 months..."

And why would Goku also waste his time training him to reach his level when he could spar with characters from other universes (if they were restaured after this arc) that are far stronger than Oob?

Why wouldn't Goku train a character who can surpass all of them and become the ultimate sparring partner?

Uub has the advantage of scaling with Goku. EoZ doesn't really establish how strong anyone is except that Uub can give Goku a challenge so the stronger Goku gets, the stronger he gets.

I used to think like that by the time of Movie 14, I still do, but it gets more and more a stretch to me now. There has to be a limit for how much power Uub retained from Buu and to human's peak.

Oh sure, going by Super logic: less than 5 months of training will be enough for Oob to surpass Jiren, if they got balls to go beyond EoZ that's it.

I don't think it's a problem. Uub's clearly not a normal human and with the kind of latent power he's bound to have as Kid Buu's reincarnation, the sky's the limit. We've never really seen where a human peaks out at anyway. None of them ever did any of the advanced gravity training and whatnot Goku did after their training with King Kai.

Oob was born with Kid Boo's power, so he can surely be a powerhouse for the next tournament with the last 4 universes.

I wonder what the deal with Shantsa is. There has to be a reason why this small blue creature has made it this far.

He also suspiciously looks a lot like Chiaotzu. Maybe he'll blow himself up and sacrifice himself to take out either 18 or Piccolo.

I like to hope he will be something but I am not making any beats, I just feel Toei is lazy focused on U7 and U11 being the only main superpowers. If U4 or U3 do something good, but honestly how long will it last?! :?:
