That said, it would be nice if they could get a little creative with Videl in the games; for her Saiyawoman form, at least, they should throw in some kind of energy beam, since I'm sure by the point she's wearing the costume Gohan would have gotten around to teaching her that. As noted, she's an incredibly fast learner.
Yeah. Hell, the one thing missing from the Videl vs. Spoppovitch match, IMO, was Videl whipping out a low powered Kamehamea as a last ditch effort of beating him. If she learned how to fly doing a Kamehameha should be a piece of cakce.
*nods*
At least Super DBZ gave her that "Voltecks Aura," which looks pretty cool.

About Videl...It doesn't matter if she knows how to use ki a bit or not, it's all about the teachers, and what they can provide in training. Yajirobe can't fly, or use any of his ki. But...opinions people, who do you think would win...? Yajirobe or Videl? It also might be a case of potential...Yajirobe was already strong, strong enough to make Goku say that he's the toughest fighter he's fought at that point. Yajirobe was about equal to Goku before he drank Korin's water, then Yajirobe was trained by Kami and Popo which probably put him over a 1,000. Videl is like King Chappa...Good in martial arts, and with ordinary fighters, but nothing compared to the saviors of Earth. She just knows how to use a ki blast, and fly.

Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

And let's not forget Yajirobe Vs. Vegeta.

Though I'm led to wonder... and I guess this turns into a Vs question... but between Mr. Satan and King Chappa? Chappa strikesme as a stylistic master, while Mr. Satan strikes me as a tank... somehow I get the feeling that Satan is stronger, but no evidence existeth?

Satan vs Chappa would be awesome. For some reason though...it seems like Chappa would win to me. It's that quote Yamcha says about King Chappa. He says Chappa is legendary, almost god-like and that he won the last tournament he joined without being struck once.
On a different note...Satan's new ultimate kicks ass!

yeah Mr. Satan was thr toughest of the more real-worldish unable to use super speed/super high jump or special moves of any kind type of fighter. He won a Budokai without any of the Z crew in it, and when he hit the punching machine, he got the highest 'normal person' score. The other normal human type fighters were already getting worried and complaining about how Satan was sure to win the tournament again.

But this felling is more because "Mr. Satan saved the world of the great monster Cell! Hooray for Satan!!!"
If he hadn't
been humiliated by "defeated" Cell, I'm sure the others fighters would be more animated for the Tenkaichi Budokai.
I agree that Satan is the best of the normal ones. But I think he could lose for early DB characters, like Namu or Guilan, for example. In DB, the only normal people were the people on the first part (forgot the word, but it's understandable =b). We never see Satan fighting with normal people in the Tenkaichi Budokai (I think), we can only predict his power by the fact he won one and by his ridiculous power demonstrations.
