"DODGE" wasn't funny the 10,586th time someone said it, and it's not going to be somehow funny the 10,587th time.
They've also tricked a chunk of the fanbase into thinking MADE UP JOKES are CANON, like Goku being a terrible father who hates his kids (not going to entertain anyone that seriously thinks this, you just straight up don't understand the character if you truly believe that).
Hahahahaha Piccolo is Gohan's real dad hahahahaha! Am I funny yet guys!????
I really don't get this mentality whatsoever. Do you honestly think that TFS expresses that they're word of god or anything? No they don't. the accusation that they've "tricked" a "chunk" of the fanbase into believing that their version of the storyline is canon is ridiculous to the highest degree, ESPECIALLY when they have the disclaimer, "the following is a fan-based parody, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT, & Dragon Ball Super are the properties of FUNimation, Toei Animation, Fuji TV, Shueisha, & Akira Toriyama, please support the official release" (I combined several of them, but you get the point). To actively portray them on the wrong side of this & not the insane fans who take everything they do too seriously is, frankly, asinine on your part & you REALLY need to chill the fuck out.
There's a difference between creators of something & their fans. I don't blame All Time Low or Fall Out Boy for their fan(girl)s going apeshit if you complain about their newest releases, I blame their fans for taking things too seriously & being stupid about it. The music itself is another matter, but that's for another time & place. Your not providing any proof of what you say being as bad as you say, because we can infer that that's happening to some minuscule extent based on some other complaints people on here have about those people. What's really not helping your argument is the unbelievability of it. Really? a CHUNK (which implies a good portion) of the DB fanbase was somehow convinced by a small group of people making a parody series that their version of events is canon rather than them endlessly making fun of things in the show? Really? I find that hard to believe. TFS doesn't claim that, no one claims that. Your interactions with this small fragment of people isn't indicative of the fanbase as a whole, nor is it ever going to be, especially since it's hearsay at best. Not that there aren't fans who haven't done those things, but you're overblowing it by a wide margin.
