It causes unnecessary power creep and plot holes(like why don't they fuse?)

Piccolo who is in low thousands gets in million range.

Two brats which are individually weaker than piccolo become stronger than antagonist which was dozens of time stronger than if not hundreds time stronger.

Then,vegata and goku become more powerful than the antagonist who again if not hundred times but still is dozens of times powerful becomes fodder to fusion.Same with merged zamasu.

Plot hole is not a character not doing something. Goku and Vegeta don’t fused because they hate it.

Fusion also isn’t a deus ex anything since it is a known, not something out of nowhere.

I get it,not a deus ex machina instead it is a ridicolous plot device that is used to get out of seemingly hopeless situations just like a deus ex machina.

It isn’t even that since a fusion has never won outside of a movie.

Gohan has yet to have his big moment in the series. I don't believe 17, Freeza, etc. would all get big moments of glory towards the end (and 17 might have already had his), while Gohan gets nothing.

Gohan will be in the final 2. I notice that with the exception of Tien, Toei tends to give all the main characters one big moment of glory before going down.

They did give Tien one big moment of glory. You may not like it, but him rushing in and taking the sniper with him was supposed to be his big moment.

Black being in the Top 10 actually makes sense, Toriyama said that Black got quite a good amount of female fans, and his merchandise has been selling great.

The gap between Caulifla and the other U6 Saiyan doesnt surprise me, she has more personality than them. Toei tried to make Kale popular by making her a Broly clone and backfired big time, she only got somewhat popular due to her SSJ design.

How do you folks feel about Toppo spoilers for 125 as in what is implied?

Estatic really. For someone that’s supposed to the second strongest leader in his team fit to be a Hakaishin, Toppo has barely done jackshit during the whole arc except watching his teammates slowly drop out one by one in the most humiliating way possible.

Who thought it was simply the west. The west can't make 3 movies out of 1 character and Bardock being that high makes too much sense and we will see him in super.

You don’t have to take everything thing literally.Goku lost against roshi and tenshinhan but no one would call him a loser.
Freeza a guy who was so much above everything one becomes even more powerful,then piccolo a guy wouldn’t be able to defeat even ginyu becomes even more powerful than him.
Trunks and goten which are at most comparable to super saiyan become more powerful than buu who is ssj3 level.
Vegetto is miles above Buuhan,who is miles above ssj3 goku.
None of them win,but why?Freeza has a even more powerful transformation,gotenks messes around and vegetto purposely doesn’t defeat the enemy and then defuses for no reason.Outside of fusion they would have been dead.It is just a a extremely convenient way that it was written to not work to its full effect and now practically useless.

Not to mention the way they keep shoe-horning him into the video games, which have a big US audience. I get what you're saying, but still.

Bardock in Super? Yeah, probably. We've had Future Trunks, we've had Broly, we'll probably get Bardock at some point.

That poll reminded me of a question I've had. It seems like Gohan, Vegeta, Tien, Cell and Broly are all way less popular in Japan than in the West, and Goku is way MORE popular in Japan. Is this correct? That's always been my impression.

But in all semi-seriousness, if a Dragon Ball popularity poll doesn't have Goku as the most popular character, then it's automatically unofficial.

Lmao I was going to say the same thing. Japan just loves Goku too much for him to not be number 1. And ESPECIALLY if Vegeta of all people is ahead of him, you can immediately right it off as nonsense.

The only other time we saw Goku not being in the first place was when they asked fans who they'd want to see do their best in the tournament, and the reason for that was more than obvious: most already he'd be the main player

I have no idea what's what on that site, and what you push to vote, but it doesn't seem like it's important or official. How did you guys even find it? The androids are a surprise, but with all that push they got this arc it was to be expected.

Depends if Jiren would've allowed it. I can't suss out where'd exactly he be placed on the morality alignment chart, but if he's the lawful good type, then I'd imagine he'd have a problem with people like Freeza going on a killing spree. (not a fan of using that chart btw, but it helps to make discussion easier sometimes)

I say give the poll sometime, lets see where it goes.

If their are any major updates maybe some posters who monitor it should let us know.

Be nice to see more opinions in the polling/aka more characters to vote for as an update, but that is my personal want.
