Oh, most (not all) of the stuff fans argue over there are answers to in the manga. People are just too set in what they've thought for years and years and don't want to give up on it is all. They argue it for whatever reason, and Mr. Toriyama already has an answer in there for whoever will just read it and not overanalyze or second guess it.
So, to answer the question, I would not ask him about a lot of the things fans debate, because he already gave an answer on most of it, even if it is not set in stone.
If I got the chance to meet him, I would thank him for creating a story that has given me over a decade of enjoyment.
If I asked him anything Dragonball related, It would probably just be this:
"How on earth did you manage all those years? Keeping the Dragonball Manga new and exciting, doing concept art for new Dragon Warrior games on NES and SNES every few years, working on Chrono Trigger, and everything else you were involved in back then?"
To be that dedicated to all his projects and give them all the level of detail and originality that he did, that's what I always wondered. So that is what I would ask him. Chrono Trigger is my favorite RPG of all time, Dragon Warrior games were some of my favorite games too, and Dragonball by far my favorite Manga. He worked on all these things within the same ten year time frame. I've just wondered how he did it, and made everything so very detailed and exciting.
What would I have him Autograph? That's a toughie.
Perhaps volume 1 or volume 42 of the Manga, I'm not sure which.
Either that, or my SNES Copy of Chrono Trigger, that would be equally cool to have him autograph.
Oh yeah, and I gave one other thing some thought. I forget where it was printed, but there was an interview with him where some kid got to meet him in the past sometime. Mr. Toriyama offered to draw a picture for the boy and autograph it. And that dumb kid asked for Broly! What an insult I always thought.
If he made me such an offer, I'd ask him to please draw me Son Goku and Korin fighting for the Sacred Water. I dunno why, but that is what I would ask him for in that situation.
I doubt I'll ever get to meet him, or even if I did, get the time for any of that other stuff, but that's the answer to the question.

Um... I guess I'd shake his hand and get him to either draw Goku for me and/or autograph my DBZ Season whatever boxed set. I really don't know what to ask him though. If he forgot about it, it would be embarrasing to both him and me to not be able to answer my question, and it might bug him too, and I'd hate to be an annoying fan. And based on past interviews, AT hardly ever gives serious answers anyways. He usually gives out some kinda comical answer like... 'Who is more powerful once and for all, Goku or Vegeta?' 'I dunno, but I know a real angry ChiChi could own them both!"
Did anyone else get that reference to Friends?(If thats what it was.)ETC123 wrote:"how YOU doin'"
That kid asked for Brolly?! Heh, I'd probably draw Yajirobe and shove it down his throat for that.

I think I'd just thank him for creating and bringing us such a fun and heart-warming series and such a wonderful character as Goku that has given us lots of fond memories over the years. Then he'd probably ask me who Goku was again. ;_; >>
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

If I were to meet Toriyama, I wouldn't realize it's Toriyama cause I don't remember what he looks like, and he's got a "generic face".
If I did know it was Toriyama, I wouldn't be able to communicate with him because I don't know Japanese, and he doesn't know English.
If I did know it was Toriyama, and we could magically communicate through... I don't know, Namekian or something, then I'd just tell him that Dragon Ball's a great series and I'd thank him for making it. :3

What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

I'd probably bow, and thank him for all the awesome stuff he's done, and get a picture with him as well. Then I'd give him my portfolio and resume, beg to be one of his assistants, get turned down, then follow him home and leave letters and phone calls and stuff when he's not there. "Please, please, PLEASE!!!" Then when I get thrown in jail as a result, I'll spend my days reading and rereading my Dragonball manga.
What? Thats not too creepy, is it... =P

You know, if I was going to ask Toriyama one question, it'd have to be why did he draw Cell's second form without the wings but then put them back on in his complete form. Both forms probably do look better being drawn that way, but I'd like to know if there was any reason other than perfect Cell looking cool with wings.

I was close to putting that...but for some reason, 8000 isn't as funny..sadly.
Maybe its so popular, he's heard of it. XD
