You don't see how repeating the same plot point 5 times is an issue?

How would it feel if Goku gave the same "For all the Saiyans and Namekians you've killed, I'm going to beat you" speech every episode in the Namek arc?
It's no worse than Vegeta saying he was going to become a SSJ countless times on Namek, constantly reminding everyone that he will defeat Cell, or his endless bitching about wanting to fight Goku in the Majin Boo arc.
On Namek and the Boo arc it got a pay off with Vegeta tragically failing and needing Goku to carry on for him. While the Boo arc used it to show how he developed, instances Super has tried 5 times to ape in 10 episodes and falling flat on its ass spectacularly.

There's also the fact they didn't all jappen right next to another the way this shit has.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):

Of course not. Why does he need to stay in base form throughout the fight? Energy has never been important in DBS, it's not hard to make him have any kind of rage boost at the end thinking of Bulma.

But all the flashbacks were useless at all

Would you be satisfied if the last episode of a character you liked was so ridiculous?

Vegeta was eliminated in the middle of the episode, did absolutely nothing against Jiren and all the flashbacks were useless. No matter his participation in the tournament, I'm specifically talking about this episode and in that episode he was pathetic

What did Vegeta do in this episode?
Oh please. Cry me a river. All you want from vegeta seems to be where he scales in strength. That’s not all to a character. Today’s episode wasn’t about vegeta shining in power, but it was about character development, and to make it emotional (which they did). Vegeta was great this episode, and as a fan, I’m happy that he lasted this long. And I’m terms of power, he defeated a freaking hakaishin. Not complaining in that.
And you're wrong.

I've never spoken here that I wanted Vegeta to become the strongest, to awaken the UI and defeat Jiren. All I wanted was decent participation, not just strength.

You call that participation decent? Vegeta did absolutely nothing in this episode.

All his flashbacks were useless, and he did not even have half the episode.
And the episode was focused on him.

Stop generalizing. I'm not talking about all his involvement in the tournament, but about this episode.
And it was pathetic

Not for me.
I think most Vegeta fans are happy with his performance in Super. (Key is "I think", as Vegeta is one of the biggest characters of a franchise with a humongous casual following. We will never be able to ask "most Vegeta fans".) Honestly I see far more posts and comments complaining about these "rabid Vegeta fanboys" (referring to an older thread here) than I see posts and comments from them themselves.

What "boring speech" are you referring to?
You know, about fulfilling his promise, and beating Jiren with his own hands, those lines we've been hearing for 5 episodes now.
People keep saying it was the same speech, but he gave a different one each time
122 was about his arrogance and his pride
123 was about keeping his promise
126 was about him being nothing like Toppo

So since Super's gonna end at the end of March and the ToP is coming to a close, that means somebody else will be the final antagonist of the anime. Could be either Frieza because of his desire for the Super Dragon Balls, or the Grand Priest because of his suspiciousness and/or he is the top fighter of the multiverse.

Yeap , I’m only reading vegetas haters having fun here , it’s ok , enjoy it . But please don’t generalize about the people who his favorite character is vegeta , all that happened in last chapters is not really a big surprise, I wasn’t expecting a bigger thing .
My crunchyroll is blocked .. I had to read the summary here ,glad that vegeta donate some energy to Goku although that’s not a surprise again .. I don’t want freeza to be a big part of u7 victory please
It was as if a whole lot of people ...were screaming in pain....

THIS makes sense. Not that bullshit from the latter two episodes.
How? By the logical sense considering Jiren was at his full power, Base Goku and Vegeta are ants compared to him, one finger flick each should be enough to ring out them both.

You sound unbelievably ignorant as hell. What did he do besides getting beat up and think of his family? THATS EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOOD ABOUT THE EPISODE. Are you sure you care about more than just his power? Cause you brought up him getting beat up very fast. Something that everyone knows will happen if you fight jiren.

Can you actually point out the five times in the last ten episodes the Vegeta give the same speech, because I really don't remember that being the case.

There's plenty of reasons to dislike Vegeta and how forced he felt this arc with his repetitive speeches. The writing did him no favors. It was pandering. Plain and simple.

That is exactly what is so humiliating in this episode. Vegeta has one of the best motivations in this tournament, but he is so helpless about everything. About your family, your promise, Kyabe ...
It's like he fails again, even though he has so many things to protect.
In fact, he always failed

The flashbacks did nothing to motivate Vegeta enough for him to actually get a moment like the Beerus fight.
And then, Vegeta's participation is simply forgotten by everyone. It's again '' Goku, that awesome Saiyajin '', something that has already been spoken countless times

So yeah, his participation was humiliating in this episode

Because Vegeta was just an appetizer and UI Goku is the main course. That's exactly how Toei and most of the audience viewed it. Vegeta will always be the second fiddle and will continue to be treated as such. Why do you continue to be in denial about this and why are you so upset when we knew it was going to end like this the whole time?

Episode 122: "I can never throw away what I am. Kakarot can have his Ultra Instinct. I'll defeat you in my own way, Jiren!"
Episode 123: "I have to keep my promise to him! I'll surpass my limits in my own way! And Jiren, I'll beat you!"
Episode 126: "I'm not like you! I cast aside nothing!"
Episode 128: "You wouldn't understand what it's like to protect something!"

Though today's speech wasn't exactly the same as the other ones, it was retreading the same ground. We fucking get it. Vegeta stays true to himself and gains great power through the bonds he has. We don't need the same narrative beat hammered down our heads four times. They even use the same theme every time.

Vegeta should have went out to Jiren's first attack on him. Blue sparkles power up seemingly had no point, Toppo could have been taken out by 17.

How are they different? They all serve the exact same purpose. They're redundant.
