I like the music pack (not the price), but the game should have an option to select music when you''re in the main lobby.

Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread
The latest patch has increased the amount of FR I encounter in matches.
It's also increased the amount of times I've been kicked from a lobby.
The Ranked grind is pretty real.

What the hell? The music pack has the TV size versions of the OP/ED music instead of the full ones. I might not've had a problem with it if the game looped tracks properly, but all the songs fade or cut out before starting again. And they've got the Flow version of Cha-La-Head-Cha-La instead of the Kageyama version? Why?

Someone PLEAse tell me there’s a way to watch my saved replays. Ever since the update it says I can’t watch the replay because it’s from a different version of the game. Are you telling me all of them can no longer be viewed in any capacity?!
And how do I access the music pack? I had purchased the version with it.
If I can’t watch my replays that I had before this update...

Hate to break it to you, but yes. Is it really that big of a deal, though?TheSonofKakarrot wrote:Are you telling me all of them can no longer be viewed in any capacity?!

That’s complete garbage.
Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread
I wonder how hard it would have been to make the replays work or why they didn't. I'm pretty sure SFV lets you watch replays of old versions since it just keeps a list of all the changes and then loads an old version for the replay. Not much needed since the changes are mostly just stuff like frame data and damage changes that are just written like light punch = 30dmg and kept in a file.TheSonofKakarrot wrote:It really is to me.KinguKurimuzon wrote:Hate to break it to you, but yes. Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread
I got the music pack today and I'm pretty happy with it. Considering a lot of the songs are intros/endings most of them work surprisingly well as fight music too. I'm assuming we'll get more music packs further down the line.
On a side note I'm really happy they reduced the time you get to connect with an opponent from 60 seconds to 30. There was nothing more annoying than having to wait a full minute knowing full well you weren't going to connect.
As far as losing all those replays is concerned it's an annoyance. A lot of people rely on replays to improve their game.

Completely agree with this. I like the lobby theme but after awhile it gets annoying.IM21 wrote:but the game should have an option to select music when you''re in the main lobby.

Not sure if anyone has brought this up, but according to the credits:

Is there a reason he keeps using these weird pseudonyms?ShadowBardock89 wrote:Not sure if anyone has brought this up, but according to the credits:

Doing non-union work while part of a union is typically against union guidelines. This is an incredibly standard "tactic" to "get around it", and things have loosened to a point where using an obvious anagram while having a distinctive voice that everyone's going to recognize anyway is enough to play along.Rinsankajugin wrote:Is there a reason he keeps using these weird pseudonyms?

I really have a hard time believing all this.ShadowBardock89 wrote:Link to actual post:NintendoBlaze53 wrote:So rumour is going around from a supposed Bandai Namco employee plans have started for a Season Pass 2. So far they've only decided on the characters. Again this is just a rumour so take it with a grain of salt.
The packs are said to be:
Tapion and Gogeta
Roshi and Videl with Great Saiyaman
Raditz and Zarbon
Cabba and Kale with Caulifla.
Not bad I guess. I like Tapion, Roshi, Videl, Raditz and Kale/Caulfila. But I don't care for Zarbon or Cabba. Gogeta I think is fair if Vegetto is in too.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Kappa/comments ... scvi_dbfz/
I'm still confused about Tapion being in and NOT JANEMBA?!?!
If there is any DBZ character with gameplay potential, its Janemba.
I can see a gamedev company planning in advance for years, but other than that some of those character choices are really weird, and not what ArcSys would go for.
I'll try to explain it per character:
Gogeta: I assume we talk about his SSJ version from the movie. He is a popular character, but had less then 2 minutes of screentime, and looking at how ArcSys bases moves on manga panels and anime scene, there's simply just not enough content for him to became a DBFZ character. Unless of course they give him SSJ4/Goku/Vegeta stuff.
Tapion: Pretty similar situation, but he is even a more obscure character.
Roshi, Videl (with Great Saiyaman), Raditz, Zarbon: Those are possible.
Cabba: At this point we don't even have the main villain from the ToP arc. I know a lot of you found Jiren boring, but I'm simply not seeing him not making it into Season 2, and ArcSys choosing another saiyan with really generic moves instead of him. (or instead of the many ToP characters)
Kale (with Caulifla): Really similar situation. We already have Brolly, so if they want another "big slow strong brawler" type of character, why would they choose Kale? Gameplay and uniqueness-wise both Caulifla (with Kale) or Kefla would make much more sense, then her.
And at this point we don't have Janemba who would just work great in this game. There is no Jiren also as mentoined, and more importantly, there's no one from the new movie that Bandai would likely intend to promote. I also doubt that season 1 will be over by July. It can only happen if they release two new characters each month since March, but I'd highly doubt that.

Unless ArcSys are expecting sales of the game to continue to climb to where a Season 3 might be possible (featuring Jiren and Janemba) and the sales just hit 2 million units not too long ago. In comparison, Xenoverse 2 had sold 3.3 million total copies by last November.

I still just really hope for Raditz, against everything
Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread
Street Fighter V had 2 million sales overall, if I'm not mistaken, and FIghterZ came out less then two months ago. So I guess we have a good chance for Season 3 already.ShadowBardock89 wrote:Unless ArcSys are expecting sales of the game to continue to climb to where a Season 3 might be possible (featuring Jiren and Janemba) and the sales just hit 2 million units not too long ago.
