Analog stick?
...
Goddammit.
It's even more annoying that using the PS2 controlers with the whole r3/l3 setup... you can't use the analogue sticks in UB22. Because despite the fact that I prefer more Streetfighter-esque controls... the crazy ultimates of UB22 are ridiculously... ridiculous. And proved how long it's been since I've played a Butoden style DBZ game on a console controler by making my thumb bleed for the first time ever. (Well, the first time would be opening that soupcan... :O ).
What's annoying with the use of analogue sticks for things like beam struggles... it always feels like one controller has an advantage over the other for no reason that makes sense (to me at the moment...

we're always using different styles of controlers, after all.).
Though, why I never thought to spin the right analogue stick on Final Bout... I don't know. Unless I did try it once and it didn't work.
Umm... yeah... Burst Limit?

Lol this is sounding like a Budokai 1 remake (not a bad thing).
Yep, sure sounds like...
http://www.strategyinformer.com/ps3/dra ... rview.html
Mike Bowden: Will the gameplay be similar to that of its Sony and Nintendo predecessors or are we seeing a complete overhaul here?
Naoki Eguchi: Basically, it is similar to Budokai 3, but we have integrated some major new improvements in DBZ: Burst Limit such as the high definition graphics and more which will be revealed soon.
Mike Bowden: What made Dragon Ball Z: Budokai so interesting was the way you could assign certain skills to different characters thus ensuring varied gameplay almost every time you played. Will Burst Limit be a continuation of this or are there new ways to explore the characters?
Naoki Eguchi: DBZ: Burst Limit has the same system.
And I can't believe nobody's posted a link to all the new pictures at jeux-france.com :
http://jeux-france.com/news24242_dbz-bu ... mages.html
These two things should be newspost material for our dear Mike ^^

Looks like this game will capture the look of the series.
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

So basically Burst Limit is just more of the same with a gimmicky watch-a-cutscene with prettier graphics...wow. Hopefully they’re reveal some true new info on the battle system before its release, otherwise this game can go to hell while I’ll look to other upcoming fighting games to get my fix like Street Fighter 4.

They might as well call this game "Budokai 4" in the U.S. because that's what it looks like to me. And hey, no complaints here, it looks amazing! A budokai game brought up to next-gen graphical standards.
This definately adds to the cause of me starting to save up for a PS3, but I'm going to need some originality as far as story and characters go for me to get it. I mean as pretty as the games keep getting and as much as I love the story, it's getting old.

No, no! Budokai 1.4 is a much better name, since it's a remake of Budokai1, and the 4th Budokai game xD

"comes to this game"? You mean if it's included? It's not. Look at the character numbers.

You know, the thought just occurred to me that since this is a "next-gen" game, could downloadable content be a possibility?
Maybe a few extra characters (Like Buu) or stages?
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit's official Japanese site has updated its
blog & snapshots. I used google translate to translate the blog and this is what I got.
Battle of drama and fusion!
Now after a long time of renewal. This is a story about the battle.
So various terms of the movie is a drama Battle in the movie occurs suddenly!
This film is now called Peace drama, and every variety of character types
Being prepared.
And each piece of drama after the imposition of various benefits.
In the original, in the battle between character and suddenly started talking to reproduce a scene! That this system was born.
There is really aimed at the "Battle of drama and fusion."
Character work in the past and the killer had a skill set, but this time the opponent Character mode How can this drama set piece!
This was not the original scene and reproduce.
"It's out of the way-oh yum cha!"
Or put them.
Well, interesting.
So the film is also available online, so this is a fun and exciting time in the bargain.
I noticed they mentioned the word
fusion in this blog. While there is nothing to show screenshot-wise proof of going past the Cell Era. The word still gave me some hope of the Buu Era being included in the video game too. I realize google translate isn't a good way to get translations(way-oh yum cha anyone?

). It would be nice if someone here would be able to translate the blog too.

I get the feeling it's refering to the fusion of cutscenes with battle, but that's just my first impression of the ... translation.

Why is Krillin's outfit blue? He's almost always Orange in every DBZ game. Well, at least it's not his permanent color.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!
