What Would Happen If The Army Of Merged Zamasus From The Manga Had One Of Their Own Potara Earrings Taken Off?

To be more specific, what exactly would have happened if Shin or Gowasu from the Dragon Ball Super Manga of the Future Trunks Saga, right in the moment they and the Z Fighters were faced with the clone army of perhaps hundreds if not even more of Merged Zamasus, either of the two Kaioshins had used Telekinesis to detach one of the two Potara Earrings that belonged to each clone of Merged Zamasu, like in the form of removing the left Potara Earring of the first half of the army of Merged Zamasus before removing the right Potara Earring of the second half of the army of Merged Zamasus? All in a last-ditch effort to secure two fresh Potara Earrings for Son Goku and Vegeta while also giving the two enough time in the first place to be given a single Senzu Bean each from Shin or Gowasu using Magic Materialization to have replenish their energy and stamina respectively before the refreshed Son Goku and Vegeta would put on the Potara Earrings to become Vegito once again? But with this time around, Vegito now having learned from his earlier mistake of not using the rather ingenious strategy Vegeta had used against Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black by going straight into his transformation of Super Saiyan God instead of just using his Super Saiyan Blue?

Zamasu wasn't stupid (in fact he was a genius). He would have realized what those people were up to and would have killed them before it was too late. Even if he failed to do that, nothing would have changed. It doesn't matter if you are the strongest in the universe, you cannot kill an immortal being. That's why Infinite Zamasu could be destroyed only by Grand Zeno himself, whose powers could negate the absolute immortality granted by the Divine Dragon of the Gods.

That's why Zamasu, while not being the most powerful enemy in the series, was definitely the hardest to beat. He was immortal.
