I still love how people keep praising the BD quality as "glorious" when it becomes a total afterthought once you watch the show. At the end of the day, you want to see the movie or show for its story and character actions, not for video and audio quality unless previous DVD releases were REALLY jarring.

The novelty wears off when you realize that it's the exact same show.

Watching with different type of video/audio quality makes quite a difference.

Especially in the case of being in a completely wrong aspect ratio with a large chunk of the picture cut off, because the fact is that DBZ was never meant to be seen in a fake widescreen format and FUNi really screwed up by trying to make the show seem more current and new when it's not that at all.

I mean, i think these trailers say it all in terms of the way they pushed it so heavily back in 2007.

DB collection related goals as of now:

1.) Find decent priced copy of Dragon Box Z Vol. 4 (Done)

2.) Collect rest of manga

3.) Get rest of Daizenshuu (2-7)
