I was looking at Spiritdetective.com and on that site there is a piece that compares YYH characters to other anime characters. One of them compared Hiei to Vegeta. I don't know if anyone noticed this but to me Chuck Huber's Hiei kind of reminds me of Brian Drummond's Vegeta. Any thoughts?

I see it and I dont see it. Brian Drummond's Vejiita is a lot more raspier than Chuck Huber's Hiei. Otherwise, I suprisingly can.

I dont think they sound alike but they DO both act alike they're both villains turned "bad ass" heroes who do the right thing for the wrong reasons and eventually evolve to good people but still have that bad past with them and that attitude in spades.

And from my memory, the hair is similar. Honestly, I've never seen the Yu Yu anime, so I have no way of knowing about the VAs.

Actually, the Japanese VA(I forget his name now), for Hiei and Ryo Horikawa also sound similar come to think of it.

Hiei is a lot smarter than Vejiita, and shorter. Vejiita's about 5'3', Hiei's 4'9'

Well, no not really Spirit. Dende's small, Kuririn's shorter too. Then there's Popo-san, Karin-sama, Yajirobe, Chaozu, Pu'er.........

Ah, ah, ah! Spirit said "compared to most people". She didn't say "compared to the other adult Saiyajin". Soooo, I win, I win, I win!

No, you're just being... something, I can't think of the word right now.
As for these two, yeah, I've thought they were a lot alike since the first time I saw Hiei. The shortness, the size, the hair, the attitude.

The way Hiei, like Vegita, ticks people off with his comments, especially Kuwabara. XD

Question about Kuririn... is he a midget or just very short ?
