Do you think DBS would be better written if Torishima came back to supervise Toriyama and Toyotaro?
He was the one who was always highly critical of Toriyama’s writing style back in the day.. He was even the one who rejected Dr. Gero, Android 19, and later even 17 and 18.
In fact, he even rejected Cell’s Semi-Perfect Form! And thus, thanks to him, we got Perfect Cell! The coolest of the entire arc. (Toriyama was apparantly really fond of Second Form Cell, and didn’t want to lose him).
It seems Torishima is the one with the better ideas here.
What do you think?
What do you think he could mean for Toyotaro now, who obviously has some major flaws?

db has always been written consistently. Consistently bad.

I really hope people realise that Torishima is the one that read, approved, and particularly praised the script for Resurrection F.
Seriously, I doubt him being there means jack

Toriyama is only giving outline and an anime flows is different from a manga. So, unless you talk about Toyo, the only thing DBS need (since i mainly watched the anime) is someone who can keep things consistent which is what it lacked.

No, because Toriyama is not writing full stories, he's writing short outlines (if even that) and Toei and Toyotaro take it from there.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

This.
As for the question, don't know if it would be "better written", but sure as hell Dragon Ball Super would be a lot more interesting if at least someone from Dimps would work with Toriyama.

The Toriyama editor corrections rumor are exaggerated. They merely made him change appearances for characters.

People assuming Toriyama is just such a terrible writer that without his editors, Drgonball would of fell apart. After reading the interviews, you see this isn't the case.

But wasn't it stated that the Buu Saga was the only arc where Toriyama had 100% freedom with the original manga?Miracles wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 9:02 pmPeople assuming Toriyama is just such a terrible writer that without his editors, Drgonball would of fell apart. Dragonball doesn't have a single tone. It has both silly and serious moments, both humor and drama, just like real life. The idea that a work of fiction should be only all-comedy or all-serious is unnatural and frankly, retarded.

Not nessasarily Torishima, but someone experienced in showrunning to supervise the series would be great.

The torishima that worked with toriyama from slump - 23rd BT - Hell Yeah, DBS would be better
The torishima that thought Res F had a great script - not so much

No, because Toriyama is not making manga and Torishima is a manga editor.

Semi Perfect Cell was good. It's kinda a counter argument if you realize that if not for Torishima, he would have better feats in that form and people would like it more.GodVegetto91 wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 10:55 am In fact, he even rejected Cell’s Semi-Perfect Form! Same for the Androids who were getting constantly swapped out as the arc went by.
