This is Toriyama-related, so I thought I'd put it up. You can just delete this if it isn't appropriate!

Blue Dragon - "The Shadow Comes Forth"

Next On: Friday 28th March 11:30am PDT - Cartoon Network (Pacific)
Synopsis: When an evil kingdom attacks his village, Shu must awaken the legendary Blue Dragon.
I hear VIZ is dubbing it, so I'm looking forward to some decent voice acting and hopefully the original opening theme! :D

Yes! I can die happy!

Moving on...

That's really cool. I've been hoping to be able to see it for some time now, and hopefully Viz'll do a good job.

The first 10 hours of the game is a real drag, but the Shadow class system is what kept me playing if anything.

From what I've seen of the anime, the characters are completely different. Jiro's family is dead, so he's trying to avenge them with the help of Zola. Him and Shu have a rivalry and hate each other. In the video game, they're like the best of friends, then there's that love triangle with Kluke. The show definitely has a lot more shonen-esque action, so if you were bored with the game, then you might like the anime a bit more.

Since this news has been put up, I'd also like to confirm that a sequel for the Blue Dragon anime is in the works, for April 5 in Japan. Looks the anime has been doing a lot better than the game over there.
