Would it have been a better idea do a Civil War between the z-fighters?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Would it have been a better idea do a Civil War between the z-fighters?

well I explain ... we have noticed that universe 7 has too many powerful warriors so maybe it would have been more interesting than the z-fighters to divide in 2 groups to face each other.

To put a situation ... The beerus and champa tournament's ends in a draw
Champa refuses to give the dragon balls since he technically did not lose ... and plans to use the dragon balls to take the land from beerus but beerus confronts him ... and say that was a draw they did not lose either, so he will not let him make his wish ... but to avoid a fight that destroys both universes they make a deal ...
Beerus will keep the earth in the U7 and Champa will not be able to have his wish, but he can keep anything else in Universe 7
on the advice of vados ... champa asks to stay with the warriors of beerus who participated in the tournament, goku, vegeta and piccolo although they disagree ... they decide to accept this to prevent champa from making his wish ...

eventually gohan, goten, trunks and the other warriors in the earth would have more protagonism with the absence of the saiyans and piccolo but at some point they would face their own parents in the tournament of power

well what do you think? How would been the trunks arc or the power tournament of power without goku, vegeta and piccolo? Do you think could hybrids win their parents? the tension would have increased more in this way?

If the Z Senshi lacked Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo then the debacle with Zamasu might go a bit better since Gohan would be the leader in the situation and would certainly take a more pragmatic approach in defeating Zamasu & Black rather than Goku & Vegeta's philosophy of handling opponents purely with their own strength. The ToP would certainly be interesting as the Z Senshi would have to decide whether or not they intend on using villains such as Freeza & Moro and possibly using a wild card such as Broly. Whoever is chosen, U7 will likely lose as no one can match Jiren and Goku may or may not unlock UI & master it.

Future Trunks' timeline would most likely be fucked. With neither Goku or Vegeta to help him Black would win. Even if they somehow managed to destroy Fused Zamasu's body, then they would lose against Infinite Zamasu unless one of them managed to become friends with Zeno and get his button (in my opinion Gohan is too serious and uptight to become friends with Zeno). But against Black and Future Zamasu, I doubt they'd even last long enough for Fused Zamasu to appear.

They'd also get stomped hard in the Tournament of Power. No Goku or Vegeta? Yeah, they're out. Gohan ain't gonna beat Ultra Instinct Goku and Jiren.
At his core Zamasu is good like Shin, though I guess you could say he was so fastidious that it backfired. But you know, for this "Future Trunks Arc" you had to depict Zamasu and Trunks' inner conflict, right? If this was back when I was drawing the manga myself then I doubt if I could have done it. I mean, I'm not very good at depicting the characters' psychology on the page. So this all came together because now I only have to think up the story. [...] On my own, I doubt I would have been able to express Zamasu's fall to the dark side.
