How Much Would A Young Master Roshi and Kami Contribute?
If Master Roshi and Kami had decided to have used the Dragon Balls to have restored their youths in the years before the 23rd Budokai, how strong do you think they would have gotten if they had made their wishes? As well as how much do you think they would have been able to contribute to the Z-Fighters if they would have started training as soon as they had their youths restored?

If they received a proportional "youth boost" similar to Daimao's, Kami might have had the strength to stalemate Piccolo and Buff Roshi may have been able to handle a weakened Ma Junior if Kami or Goku had failed. Additionally, if Kami's youth further contributed to Piccolo's power after their merger, the boost very well could have allowed Piccolo to deal a killing blow to Android 17 before Cell could absorb him. Had that happened then; Vegeta or Trunks would have killed Cell, the Cell Games would never have happened, Goku wouldn't have died, Gohan wouldn't have learned SSJ or SSJ2, and the Majin Boo arc would be a lot more interesting.

I don't think much would change tbh.
- The events of the original Dragon Ball would stay the same.
- Piccolo's fusion might have been a little stronger, but not enough to damage 17's barrier, keep up with 17's limitless stamina, or kill a regenerative Cell.
- Roshi might have had better endurance in the Tournament of Power, but would still be overwhelmed by Frost and eliminated quickly after.
Roshi retired around the same time as Yajirobi and being Guardian of Earth doesn't leave the Kami or motivation time to train. De-Aging them doesn't suddenly change their ambitions.

Well, they could always go Libra Doko route, when he regained his youth, and became insanely powerful.
