When will people stop expecting Vegeta to become some saint?
Like, they want him to feel remorse for all the evil he's done...
I mean, he's changed, but Vegeta will always be Vegeta.
Besides, in world of Dragon Ball is nothing strange for powerful beings to kill countless innocent people, and that is okay - like Zeno, or Gods of Destruction.
Does being a deity makes it any less evil?
Anyway, chances of Vegeta becoming someone you want him to become are as high as Yamcha beating some actually relevant.

I thought the Moro arc in the manga was actually pushing the remorse angle.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

When it comes to job, there's no good or evil. There's only balance in this case. Too many lives is a problem (hello, Thanos!) and very few lives is... boring? Not ideal? Anyway, it's the job of the Gods of Destruction to keep the Gods of Creation's job in check. It is the same in the animal kingdom: carnivorous exist to keep herbivorous in check.
Now it becomes evil when there's very little of something and someone keeps killing it. And it is evil when it comes to Zeno. Erasing an Universe should only be considered when it somehow threatens the Multiverse. Zeno should probably take some classes on how to rule with the Living Tribunal or One Above All.

Yes and No.
Yes, because Beerus is willing to kill millions of innocents for petty and selfish reasons, but gets away with it scots-free. In the first episode of Super, Beerus destroys a planet because they made bad food, in a universe that was already miserable as far as mortal level is concerned.
No, because what Zamasu did was frowned upon by everyone, even by his former teacher.
Just like in real life, double standards are applied here.
Akira Toriyama, DBS vol.4 joint interview with ToyotaroAt his core Zamasu is good like Shin, though I guess you could say he was so fastidious that it backfired. But you know, for this "Future Trunks Arc" you had to depict Zamasu and Trunks' inner conflict, right? If this was back when I was drawing the manga myself then I doubt if I could have done it. I mean, I'm not very good at depicting the characters' psychology on the page. So this all came together because now I only have to think up the story. [...] On my own, I doubt I would have been able to express Zamasu's fall to the dark side.

When the fanbase stops parading him as one.

A lot of Vegeta fans want him to be the protagonist when that's just not going to happen. Goku is the main character, it's his story. They also don't understand that past actions in general aren't something Toriyama's characters tend to hold as baggage. Toyotarou, as much of a fan he is, forgets that Vegeta can just be an awful person even if he became less of one as the original series progressed. He's trying to fix something that wasn't broken while forgetting who Vegeta actually is.

I like Vegeta, but don't want him to be too kind.

Well, that's actually the case with the current arc. He felt remorse for all the harm he caused to Namekians in the past and he said that he can't let any of them die.

You could make the argument that the concept was already in existence with Vegeta's self-reflective contrition for Gohan being allegedly killed immediately after he blindsided Goku early in the Buu arc and again when he explains his rationale for the phraseology of his wish on Kaioshin's planet.
The BOG arc sadly dealt a blow to the muddiness of Vegeta's character when he was made to partake in the ritual requiring pure hearted Saiyans or whatever to help Goku achieve SSJG. I think Vegeta acknowledging his past atrocities against the Namekians and the protectiveness he's assumed of them are good characterisation decisions for him because it brings his follies back to the surface and allows us to realise that Vegeta is still very much a man of flawed complicated origins.
You should contrast that with someone like Yamcha whose history as a murder-capable profiteering bandit is never scrutinised again after the first arc of the series.
