Will Beerus Ever "Kick The Bucket"?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Will Beerus Ever "Kick The Bucket"?

Post by theherodjl » Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:13 pm

It may be a line from the English dub of BOG...but can/will Beerus ever die of old age or some other cause? He's been a Hakaishin for at least 75,000,000 years which is quite a career of longevity compared to Belmod, a guy that wants to retire as Hakaishin after only 267,000 years or so. We know that Hakaishin are not unkillable or incapable of being erased, a fate they can very much so share with mortals. Maybe Beerus' time as Hakaishin is slowly catching up to him? If not physically, perhaps mentally? Might the realization that he would have to hold this position for many millions of years more put some degree of unwanted pressure on him? If he did retire, would his body crumple to dust(like Donovan from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade) as a result of living so unnaturally long?
Is death looming over Beerus to finally carry him over to the afterlife in the foreseeable future?

Possibly. If Dragon Ball Super continues?

I could see him dying or Goku making him so angry he wants nothing to do with the Earth by the End of Z.
