Now that I've gotten to the ending of the arc, I'm taking the Merus thing in a different direction, and triggering Ultra Instinct with another character's death, rather than Merus.' Not only does this keep Merus around for the future, it also lends itself directly into material for a hypothetical next arc. I've still got some twists up my sleeve, but let me know what you think!
* THE OUTLINE *
The Setup
Spoiler:
This is really more author's notes than anything else. Some of this would occur on panel/on screen, some of it wouldn't necessarily. A lot of this is just stuff for me to keep in mind for the arc as I write through it.
Moro has spent 10 million years locked away in Galactic Patrol prison. During this time he has focused his hatred into his dark magics that he has cultivated for a variety of insidious powers. Using these abilities to carry his thoughts and whispers throughout the prison, Moro has attempted to ply the minds of his captors and even fellow prisoners for countless millennia, spreading urges and plans throughout the galaxy to break him out.
In the weeks after Goku and Vegeta’s run in with Broly, Moro’s efforts have finally succeed.
Moro is broken out of prison by the Macareni gang who were both former prisoners of the Galactic Patrol and former footsoldiers for Frieza.
The Macareni Gang:
— Tellini, the brains - mathlete not an athlete, computer wiz and tactician, still very dangerous when armed, and always has a plan
— Elbo, the muscle - frighteningly huge, muscled, and a merciless fighter with unbelievable stamina and battle power
— Sghetti, the wiseguy - strong fighter, quick and slippery, Sghetti’s the engineer of the trio and a fast-talking ladies’ man
— Kuranberil, the driver (a saiyan) - a renegade saiyan that escaped from the Frieza armies years ago and has been running ever since
Moro originally came into contact with The Macarenis through current prisoner Shimorekka who had worked with them in the past. Moro’s magics allowed him to communicate with many prisoners telepathically, and through their memories, seek out people and places far beyond the prison, introducing him to the Macarenis, yes, but also showing him the android prototype Omega/7-3 in development on the planet Jung capable of replicating and reproducing energy, theoretically at an infinite scale. Moro began to formulate a plan. He would need the dragon balls to have his magic powers restored and once that was done, he could grant his followers their just rewards. Once he had his magic restored, Moro would not suffer to lose them again as he had after the Grand Supreme Kai sealed his magic away 10 million years ago. He could wish for his magic to return, but he would use the android Omega/7-3 to replicate his powers as a contingency in case any attempt to remove his powers again was successful.

First Encounters
Spoiler:
The Galactic Patrol launch into an immediate high-speed chase after the Macarenis’ ship, but Kuranberil has evaded Frieza and his top generals for years, and he does just as well against the GP. When the GP lose them in an asteroid field, they split their forces, two teams searching after the Macarenis and Moro, and a third team headed for earth to enlist the help of the Grand Supreme Kai and Goku.
The Macareni Gang are dispatched to the planet Cobol to acquire the Blue Aurum they would need to power Omega/7-3’s energy replicator while Moro passed through the stars, traveling alone via “Dark Passage” (black hole) to planet Jung to take the android (”A star died not far from here millions of years ago, tearing a hole through reality as it rotted away. I know the Dark Passages between worlds, gentlemen, I’ll get along just fine.”) A team of scientists are working around the clock on Planet Jung to perfect Omega/7-3, a last-ditch defense effort to save them from an army of demons they had unwittingly released that threatened to consume their world. Moro paid this no mind. Their battle was none of his concern. Killing the scientists, Moro took the android and left the planet to be destroyed. The plan was to meet with the android and the Blue Aurum on Planet Namek, locate the dragon balls and get everyone everything they ever wanted.
The Galactic Patrol are alerted to the Macareni Gang’s presence on Cobol and Merus goes with Goku, Vegeta, and Buu to apprehend the three brothers that had freed Moro from prison, but in the ensuing conflict, Tellini manages to beam the Blue Aurum into Kuranberil’s waiting ship who hightails the cargo to Namek to meet up with Moro. Though the Macarenis find themselves soon back under GP arrest and thrown back in jail with a life sentence, they’re sure Moro will return their favor once he’s gotten his magic back.
Goku seeks the cosmos for Moro’s ki and is struck horrified by a cold, dark force on Planet Namek, and as Goku stares into that Abyss, Moro looks back at him, a sadistic grin on his face as his magic strips Goku of his ability to sense ki! Without the ability to sense ki, Goku is unable to use Instant Transmission to teleport the heroes to Namek, explaining that he could teleport them into space or into the ground, it would be too dangerous to risk. They’d have to travel there by ship.

The Battle on Namek
Spoiler:
While the GP head to Namek, Moro meets up with Kuranberil who explains the Macarenis were captured but he’s brought the Blue Aurum. Moro scoffs, but tells him to power up the android but to keep it hidden in reserve while he seeks after the dragon balls. Using his magic, Moro turns himself invisible and begins probing the planet for signs of power. His absorption of the planet Jung’s lifeforce had satisfied his appetite, but his body was still emaciated and weak after so many millennia of starvation. He soon finds a nearby Namekian village and employs his magic against the Namekians there, quite winded as he emerges from the battle unscathed, having discovered the first of the dragon balls!
On route, Goku and Vegeta learn more about how the Grand Supreme Kai’s spirit still lives within Buu, how the Grand Supreme Kai fought with Moro, and about who Moro is and where he came from. He’s an ancient evil and the original creator of Buu, in fact, an Elder Being that predates the Kais, Demons, and Gods (but not the Angels). His magic makes him an almost unstoppable force with a myriad of fantastical powers that he can employ on a cosmic scale. With his magic, Moro can be prepared for any contingency and respond to any threat with overwhelming force. It is said that the Angels came to fear Moro’s destructive capabilities and thus they created the Kais to deal with him and the Gods of Destruction meant to be individually weaker and thus more easily manageable replacements for Moro who would preserve the balance. The Angels were forbidden to act directly and watched hopelessly as their Kai failed time and again in their actions against the evil magician until finally the Grand Supreme Kai teamed with the Southern Great Kai were finally able to seal Moro’s magics away and through their combined efforts, supported by the Galactic Patrol, Moro was finally brought to justice and imprisoned, strong as he was then, even without his magics, that no one had the power to kill him.
Moro collects the dragon balls.
Goku, Vegeta, and Merus fight him, doing fairly well, forcing Moro to utilize a variety of spells to protect himself and escape capture (illusions, altering the landscape, gaseous form, invisibility, poison clouds) -- while Kuranberil begins summoning the dragon.
Despite all their best efforts, Moro is able to wish his magic power back and with that, he begins to absorb the lifeforce of every living thing on Planet Namek - including from the planet itself! Goku, Vegeta soon find themselves powerless to stop Moro he grows younger and stronger by the second, Moro explaining that his greatest magic spell allows him to siphon life energy from the hearts of planets themselves, when Jaco arrives with a very groggy-looking Buu explaining to Merus that they were finally able to awaken the Grand Supreme Kai within him!
Buu rushes Moro, taking the form of the Grand Supreme Kai, and for some reason Moro is unable to absorb the Grand Supreme Kai’s powers - Merus explains that, even though Buu is fighting with the spirit of the Grand Supreme Kai, Buu lacks a true life force, and Moro can only absorb life force. Buu is an artificial being similar to an android, only created purely through magic rather than science. Being busy fending off the Grand Supreme Kai, Moro stops absorbing everyone’s energy, but Goku and Vegeta find themselves unable to take on their god forms, powering into Super Saiyan 2 at best, they join the fight against Moro, encouraged by Merus who tells them he’ll try and recapture the fiend.
Struggling against Merus' surprisingly effective efforts, Moro yells, “Enough!” breaking free from energy shackles Merus had tied him with, and tells Buu his magic is nothing compared to his own, he created him! Grand Supreme Kai replies, “You did not create me,” but Moro puts up an antimagic field that Buu finds himself unable to cross and blocks all of the Grand Supreme Kai’s attacks, and then he Dominates the mind of Goku, inflicting him with the Majin M on his forehead, causing him to attack Vegeta! Finally, Moro flies into space where he begins to summon a Meteor Swarm to wipe the planet clean of life. Grand Supreme Kai pursues the goat tyrant but finds himself overwhelmed as Goku and Vegeta continue to fight. Goku tells Vegeta he’s sorry, he can’t stop himself, Moro is controlling his body.
“It’s too late for you, Kai!” Moro gloats, “You already spent the best of your power eons ago when you sealed my magic, but now I’ve got it back!” They struggle, their hands locked trying to push the other away when Moro headbutts Grand Supreme Kai and then rushes him, beating him senseless before turning him to stone saying, “Now you’ll see what it feels like to be sealed away forever!” The meteor swarm arrives as the stone remains of Buu fall to the planet’s surface, breaking into three pieces and Merus tells Vegeta that Namek is done for, they have to retreat, but Vegeta is still busy fending off Goku! “Snap out of it, Kakarrot!” Merus appears behind Goku and blasts him with his stun gun in the back of the head and he gathers up the pieces of Buu with a net while Vegeta shoulders Goku’s unconscious form and they flee while meteors raze the surface of the planet.
Moro did all of this with but one Wish. He has two more, or so he thinks. C
Kuranberil, who is nowhere to be seen, has made his own wish. Moro is not amused. Kuranberil’s ship remains along with the slumbering android Omega/7-3. Kuranberil was irrelevant, Moro decided. The plan would continue.

Intermezzo
Spoiler:
The Galactic Patrol Prison is destroyed, Moro summons an army of goons including Shimorekka, the Macarenis, and Saganbo who seek out great sources of life force as normal and Goku and Vegeta train as normal. Tellini Macareni tells Moro that Frieza often talked about Earth, it was Goku’s home, and apparently teaming with life. They begin to head for Earth, stopping along the way so Moro could drain life force from other planets in between.
As Goku discovers Merus is not exactly what he seems, Goku reaches out to King Kai and asks him to warn Bulma and Krillin about Moro. The Earth begins to prepare, and Gohan gathers the Z-Fighters to train with him and Piccolo. Krillin, Tien and Chiaotzu, and even Yamcha arrive. They didn’t know where Moro was or where he was headed, but if he came to Earth, they would have to be ready.

The Battle on Earth, Pt. 1 - Gohan and the Z-Fighters
Spoiler:
Things progress from here somewhat normalishly, though the Z-Fighters put up a much stronger showing against Moro’s forces, and Moro still does not employ the android Omega/7-3. The battle is drawn out, and Moro has superior numbers, causing the Z-Fighters to spread out, and involving 17 and 18, and even Master Roshi, as Moro’s army attacks several cities and causes destruction all over the world. Yamcha is shown to be surprisingly dominant in his particular fights. After a few days, Moro hasn’t heard from his lieutenants, and so decides to investigate for himself, landing his ship in the wastelands, he seeks out Gohan, the strongest life force on the planet. Moro and Gohan do battle and though Gohan is overmatched in sheer strength, Moro finds that he cannot absorb Gohan’s life force… it seems, curiously, protected… of course it is no matter, because Moro hasn’t even used his magic yet. Paralyzing Gohan he puzzles over how to crack the shell, so to speak, he’s very interested in devouring Gohan’s life force now, but the rest of the Z-Fighters arrive and busy him with a fight against their coordinated efforts. Surprisingly, the team of Z-Fighters pushes Moro to defend himself with magic as they combine their attacks into effective special moves and combination strikes, catching him by surprise. Moro is rather entertained by this and in good spirits, congratulating the whelps for their moving performances! When Gohan breaks free from the spell that paralyzed him, Moro decides to reveal the android Omega/7-3, powered with Blue Aurum and possessed of a power level equal to that of Moro through its energy replication process. King Kai has been trying to reach Goku to tell him Moro’s on earth, but he can’t while Goku trains in the room of spirit and time. Instead, he tries to reach Vegeta who refuses to return to Earth before he’s learned a mysterious technique.
“What?! There are TWO of them?!” Krillin blurts out, and the Z-Fighters find themselves busy trying to do anything to the powerful android while Gohan resumes his hopeless assault on Moro. Throughout this fight, Omega/7-3 reads the Z-Fighters techniques and replicates them, turning their attacks against them. Finally Goku and Merus emerge from the room of spirit and time, Goku feeling defeated, he was unable to master ultra instinct. King Kai is able to warn Goku but Goku, having lost his ability to sense power levels, can’t use Instant Transmission to teleport to the Earth. Merus tells him not to worry, their ship is fast.
Finally, Gohan and the Z-Fighters are defeated. Moro begins to absorb their life force, idly prying at Gohan with various magic spells, attempting to find some way to eat Gohan’s energy when Goku finally arrives with the Galactic Patrol. Once Goku begins to fight, Bulma begs Dende to get down there and heal everyone. Popo warns them of impending disaster should anything happen to Dende, but Bulma insists.

The Battle on Earth, Pt. 2 - An Ill Omen
Spoiler:
Goku fights Moro and Omega/7-3 at the same time using Ultra Instinct Omen, his speed too incredible for Moro to concentrate on absorbing Goku’s energy, forcing him instead to defend himself, even forcing him to use Omega/7-3 to protect him against Goku’s savage speed. But of course, Omen has its limits. Soon Goku’s attacks, while still fast, begin to lack force, and while Goku continues to pressure Moro, keeping him from absorbing Goku’s energy, his advantage is slipping and Moro knows it.
As Goku’s Omen wanes, Moro finally catches him in a vicegrip, beginning to draw out power from the planet, the Z-Fighters, and from Goku again as he does, utilizing the raw physical power this enables him with to show Goku how truly outclassed he really is. Finally, Goku loses his Omen power and falls to the ground unconscious in his base form.

The Battle on Earth, Pt. 3 - Vegeta's Turn
Spoiler:
Vegeta is shown having bested the Yardrats and focusing in on Goku’s power even from so far away. It’s a testament to how far he’s come with his Spirit Control. “Will it be enough?” Vegeta scowls at Pybara. The Elder Yardrat tells him, “That depends entirely on you, Vegeta,” and placing two fingers to his forehead Vegeta says, “It better be…” as he employs Instant Transmission to immediately travel to the Earth.
“So even with the power of the gods you couldn’t finish this cretin?” Vegeta stands over Goku, “Pathetic.”
“Vegeta, you—” Goku starts, but Vegeta interrupts him, “Don’t worry, Kakarrot, I have no interest in copying your techniques. There simply wasn’t any time to waste.”
“Oh, interesting,” Moro says finally, “I did wonder where you’d gone off to. I was starting to think you were the smarter of the pair, and knew you were better off far out of my way.”
“It’s funny you should say that,” Vegeta says as he rushes Moro so fast Moro is unable to even react. Goku and the others are stunned to see Vegeta slam a resounding right hook into Moro’s stomach, doubling the ancient being over with the shock and pain. Vegeta leans in, growling right next to Moro’s face, “I actually need to get quite close for this to work.”
Things proceed in a similar fashion to how they did in the original, except that Moro and the android fight Vegeta in tandem, and Vegeta seems to do just as well against the pair as UI Omen Goku, if not better. With every hit Vegeta lands, Moro’s power decreases, though Vegeta comments on how formidable Omega/7-3 seems to be by comparison. Vegeta mocks Moro that his own henchman has more power than he does, and that’s what sets Moro off. He begins to use his magic once again, unleashing a deafening peal of thunder followed by a wave of blistering lights of an array of colors, disorienting the saiyan. And yet, even blinded and deafened, Vegeta, after having seen what happened to Goku when Goku relied his ability to sense Moro’s ki, Vegeta uses his own ki, in a manner that recalls Gohan's efforts against the blinding poison of Lavender, to create a sort of invisible field with which he could feel out where Moro and the android would be. Vegeta mocks the pair again, “You see Moro, I’ve been training specifically to destroy you. There’s nothing you can do that I can’t counter!” But it’s Moro’s turn to laugh. The poor saiyan has no idea.
Dende makes his way to the wastelands as fast as he can.
“You think you’re so smart, don’t you?” And with a gesture Moro renders Vegeta’s brain mush, disrupting his thought process to the point that his intellect and willpower become that of a toddler’s. His SSB power fades. “Why do you think the Grand Supreme Kai willingly gave up so much of his own godly powers, hm? It wasn’t the strength of my arms, I’ll tell you that.”
Extremely tired now, both from the exertion of powerful magic and Vegeta’s use of Forced Spirit Fission, Moro orders Omega/7-3 to bring him his walking stick as Vegeta gawks and stares all around, emptyheaded, eyes glazed over, utterly feebleminded. With a savage but tired backhanded strike Moro topples Vegeta over, sending him skidding across the ground on his face several feet away where he begins to wail and flail around like an infant squealing for its mother.
“The Grand Supreme Kai deprived me of my might long ago you infantile fool, did you truly think I would allow anyone to ever do that to me again?” Moro crosses over to Omega/7-3, “Now then, you’ve done very well, Omega/7-3, but now it is time for you to fulfill your true purpose.”
“My purpose is to defend Planet Jung,” Omega/7-3 responds.
“No, 7-3,” Moro grabs the android by the arms, “Your purpose is to defend my power. I gave you the power that this stupid saiyan has taken from me, I gave it to you for you to replicate in case I needed a backup, but now I need it back!”
Omega/7-3 struggles, breaking free from Moro’s grasp, leaping back into a fighting stance, “No! Stay away from me!”
But Moro makes a grand gesture with his walking stick and Omega/7-3 freezes in place, paralyzed. Moro slumps after doing so, the effort clearly exhausting him even more. Propping himself up, nearly hanging from his own walking stick, Moro holds himself steady on Omega/7-3’s shoulder. “Don’t worry,” Moro pants, and despite being unable to move, Omega/7-3’s eyes focus clearly on the dark magician, “It’ll be quick,” Moro finishes. Moro clutches the android’s face in both hands, his walking stick clattering to the ground as he, much like a Harry Potter dementor, begins to suck the energy out of Omega/7-3. Gohan manages to stand to his feet and shouts, “No MOOOAARR!! He bellows, charging the goat down, but Moro barely hesitates, he doesn’t even turn to look. Letting go of the android’s head with just one hand as he continues to consume the energy stored within Omega/7-3, Moro gestures with a pointed finger and a flick of his wrist. His walking stick rises from the ground, pointed at Gohan and then flies with tremendous speed and force, impaling the young half-saiyan through the chest, killing him almost instantly. Piccolo and Krillin cry out, struggling to push themselves up from the ground, but finding themselves too drained. Jaco trembles next to Merus, Merus who seems eerily calm, as Moro finishes his meal. Throwing the color-muted “corpse” of Omega/7-3 to the ground, Moro wipes the drool from his chin saying, “Nothing more than a battery.”
“So even with the power of the gods you couldn’t finish this cretin?” Vegeta stands over Goku, “Pathetic.”

Angels and Demons
Spoiler:
Moro is restored to his youth and vigor, but he does not change appearance beyond that.
“We have to do something, right,” Jaco turns to Merus, “He’s gonna destroy the earth!”
Moro looks around at the carnage, “Oh, what a pity,” he laments, staring at Gohan’s bleeding body, “I was so looking forward to dining on your energy. It had such an aroma to it.” He sees his fallen soldiers and the grieving Z-Fighters, the crying Saiyan Prince, and finally the unconscious Goku. “What a mess…” he says, dusting himself off before looking back at Goku, “But certainly, there is no denying it, we cannot forget the main course, le bifteck, ah che cucina raffinata, -- you are certainly the prize." He looks back at Gohan, "This must have been your son, yes? He has that look. Such an intriguing puzzle, to be so challenged by an appetizer... one may never experience such a piquant meal in all their lives, in a thousand lives... Ah well, I can't be helped, after I’ve finished here, I suppose I’ll look for the mother. I imagine she might make for the perfect digestif…”
“That’s enough,” Merus states, firmly. He and Jaco have their guns trained on the great goat.
“Well, well,” Moro cracks his neck, “To be honest I had entirely forgotten you were here. Merus, was it?”
“I’m bringing you in, Moro!” Merus shouts.
“You actually mean it…” Moro laughs, “Let me guess, this is your ‘Big Hero Moment?’ Your chance to finally make papa proud!” He snickers ruefully.
Merus does not laugh. Moro’s smirk fades. They stare at one another and a breeze blows some dust and detritus between them. They both react as one, Moro and Merus moving in a wide circle, firing off their own beams of energy.
“Cover me!” Merus tells Jaco who stops gawking and starts firing.
Concurrently, on Beerus’ planet, the Grand Priest and Whis watch the battle on Earth on the GodTube.
“You see?” the Grand Priest says, “He oversteps his bounds, Whis. I cannot allow this to continue.”
“Please,” Whis interjects just as the Grand Priest begins to turn away, “Might you permit me to take a hand in this? Keep him under control, I mean. I would like to take responsibility for him, there’s no reason for you to get involved.”
The Grand Priest says nothing for a moment, his expression flat. “If you do this… and he breaks the law?”
“I know, father, but just let me—” Whis was interrupted by the Grand Priest who then said, “Go. But do be careful. I would hate to lose two sons this day…”
Back on Earth Merus and Jaco continue to take shots at Moro from a safe distance and though Jaco’s shots ricochet off of a magic barrier that appears before Moro, Merus’ shots seem to pierce through it as both Jaco and Moro note when one grazes the goat’s arm, drawing blood. Moro glares at Merus and fires a blast of lightning at the Galactic Patrolman, but Merus draws his staff and spins it in front of him, gathering the lightning around it like so much cotton candy before slamming one end into the ground causing the lightning to shoot into the sky from the other end.
“Merus…” the goat grumbles, “You’ve not been entirely honest with us all, have you?”
Jaco looks perplexed as he asks Merus, “What’s he talking about?!”
Merus looks panicked, shouting at Jaco dismissively, “Go wake up Goku!” and then he rushes at Moro, his staff in hand.
Whis appears between Merus and Moro, his back turned to the goat. “What do you think you’re doing, little brother?”
“I’m ending this!” Merus shouts.
“This is no time for a family spat!” Moro shouts, unleashing a huge torrent of flames from his mouth.
“Unbelievably rude of you to interrupt,” Whis turns, gesturing with his arms like he’s pushing and the flames seem to crash against an invisible wave and then rebound on Moro, engulfing him in fire. “Merus, our father has been watching you. You are in violation. If you take this any further—”
“I don’t care!” Merus interrupts and starts to run past but Whis extends his arm, his staff barring Merus’ way. Whis tells him, “Well, I do.”
Whis puts his other hand on Merus’ shoulder, then they both vanish as Whis says, “Always so emotional.”
“We have to do something, right,” Jaco turns to Merus, “He’s gonna destroy the earth!”

Ultra Instinct, Perfected
Spoiler:
Something, something Goku wakes up and begins to grieve and rage over his son’s death, rushing at FP Omega Moro in his UI Omen form only to get so savagely stomped on that he powers down into SSB, then SSG, then Super Saiyan before finally being knocked unconscious in his base form once again. Omega Moro gloats some as Dende arrives and begins healing the Z-Fighters and restoring Vegeta’s mind, but Gohan is too far gone for his help. Whis communicates with Goku while he remains unconscious.
“It’s no wonder Merus couldn’t teach you to properly use Ultra Instinct… you have to remain calm, Goku. This is it. This is your test. I know it’s hard, but this is that moment. If you can control your emotions now… no enemy will stand in your way.”
Goku opens his eyes.
The Ultra Instinct deal happens roughly as it did in the manga. Moro just kind of allows Goku to pontificate for a while since he’s not been knocked down by Merus at this point.
Goku is furious. He doesn’t know how he’s going to revive Gohan since Gohan’s already been revived once. He failed his son. The rage boils over inside him again and his hair flutters as golden flames alight around his body. That’s when he remembers what Merus had told him in the time chamber.
“Rage, grief, joy — those strong emotions can translate to prodigious power … but the technique you’re after is the opposite. It will activate when you achieve self-control in the face of a jarring shock to your emotions. Such is Ultra Instinct.”
Goku has his conversation with Jaco about the Galactic Patrol, pretty much beat for beat, I might change a detail here or there, but then at the end as he is confronting Moro, just before he powers up into Ultra Instinct he says, “Gohan,” and clenches his fist again, his hair fluttering up once more before settling down, “I’ll find a way.” BOOM, massive power up like in the manga, and then we get the fight between Moro and MUI Goku.

Denouement
Spoiler:
The fight concludes in the same way as in the manga, except that there's no secret severed hand containing the power of an Angel, there's just Moro, severely beaten, buried under the rubble of what was once a plateau. Goku tells Jaco it's finished, he can take things from here, but Jaco says, "Well, um, actually, we only kept him in prison because none of us were strong enough to kill him, even millions of years ago Moro was sentenced to the Death Penalty." Goku closes his eyes and sighs. "I see."
Moro, from under the rock, begins to beg for his life. "Please! Don't kill me, I surrender! Please don't kill me!" The rocks shift and Moro bellows in agony. It's clear he can't free himself. Goku is incensed. A golden aura flares around his Ultra Instinct form.
"You dare beg ME for mercy?! After what you've done?! You KILLED MY SON!" and he launches a ki blast into the rubble, obliterating the rocks and sending Moro flying, one of his arms blown off in the explosion, and both of his legs having been broken previously by the rubble.
"Get up!" Goku rages, his Ultra Instinct now replaced by the golden flames of his original Super Saiyan form as he flies forward, "You stand up! He deserves that much!"
Goku drags him off the ground. He glares into the goat's eyes saying, "I can't believe someone like you got so strong by stealing all of your power. You never trained a day in your life, did you?"
"Kakarrot!" Vegeta croaks out from a distance, "Finish him off!"
"You don't deserve your powers, Moro," Goku fumes, pulling his fist back, charged with red-golden flames, "This is the end for you!" But Moro smiles.
"Who do you think are--passing judgment over me?" Moro laughs, choking on his own blood, "A god? You don't look like a god. Not anymore."
Moro's eyes glow blood red and Goku's eyes glow white-hot, burning, and smoking. Goku drops Moro and reels from the pain as roots and bones rise out of the ground, lashing around Moro's limbs, lifting him up and lashing themselves to his legs like macabre splints. He flexes a skeletal hand that has joined to his arm with vines and fires a searing beam of red hot energy, screaming at Goku to "DIE!" The beam burns a hole through the blinded SSJ Goku who opens his scorched eyes, and filled with rage enters SSJ3.
"Oh, for god's sake," Vegeta spits, charging forward in his Super Saiyan Blue form.
Moro raises an army of the dead, bolting savagely out from the ground, covered in roots and vines, an army of dead Namekians, between Vegeta and himself and Vegeta is <s̷̸̛h̵̢̀҉̶o̵̡͞͞o̴̶̷͡k͞҉̨͠e̡̢̧̛t̛h͡͠>.
"What is this?!" Vegeta jumps back, finding himself unable to strike down the bodies of the dead Namekians after he'd worked so hard to master a technique that would bring him some measure of true atonement for what he'd done on Namek years ago.
Goku and Moro do battle once more, Moro unleashing a barrage of new spells, black tentacles, teleportation, a sword of raw magic power, but SSJ3 Goku is keeping up.
Suddenly, Shin arrives with Kibito, King Kai, Grand Kai, and Buu, restored from stone, in the guise of the Grand Supreme Kai. Shin, Kibito, King Kai and Grand Kai begins obliterating the undead while the Grand Supreme Kai tells Vegeta, "Don't fear. He only wants you to think these abominations are Namekian. He plays mindgames, you know this well. Let's finish this."
The pair of them rush to Goku's aid, moving past Goku to engage Moro directly. Closing his blinded eyes, Goku takes a quick breath and powers up into his Super Saiyan Blue form. For his part Moro looks, for the first time, afraid, screaming at Grand Supreme Kai, "No! You won't take my magic! Not again!"
Vegeta charges and bowls Moro over with a haymaker to the mouth, knocking out Moro's teeth, "Can it!" Dozens of orbs of light fly out from Moro on the impact of Vegeta's fist, many of them hovering in the air, some of them exiting Earth's atmosphere at light speed, heading to their rightful homes on New Namek and several other planets. More orbs scatter out from him when he slams into the ground and one large one in particular shoots out between Vegeta and Goku, back behind them, and into the fallen body of Omega/7-3. The android's body arches off the ground, it's color returns, but it falls back again, insensate.
Moro surges back up, flying into the sky, trying to snatch the orbs back, shoving them into his mouth. Vegeta chuckles.
"It's almost sad," Goku says, watching the villain scramble.
"It's pathetic," Vegeta says and then asks, "What happened to that power of yours?"
"He got me too angry," Goku seems disappointed in himself "I have to keep my emotions under control to use it properly."
"Hmph," Vegeta grunts, adding, "We're Saiyans, Kakarrot, getting angry is what we do best. Now, come on!"
Vegeta splays his arms out and begins to charge his Final Flash, Goku smiles and draws his palms to one side, "Ka..." and the Grand Supreme Kai works a glowing pink glyph, a magical seal that begins to form, faintly around Moro as he continues greedily gobbling up his lost power. Shin looks up at the seal, hesitating in battle against the undead for a moment as Krillin steps up to his side.
"It's okay," Krillin tells him, "Go help, we've got this." The rest of the Z-Fighters jump back into the fray alongside Kibito as Shin, King Kai, and Grand Kai all rush to Grand Supreme Kai's side, adding their power to the Grand Supreme Kai's seal. As it glows brighter and brighter, Moro's orbs of energy begin to fade and his hands pass uselessly through them. He realizes what's about to happen to him, muttering, "No, this cannot be, NO!! I AM THE GOD HERE, YOU ARE ALL BENEATH ME!!!" He starts to gather an energy blast in his skeletal hand. But Goku and Vegeta both have charged their full power into each of their blasts. The seal flares bright, the energy in Moro's hand dissolves into nothing, and Vegeta and Goku both shout with booming voices, "Final!!" - "Meeeeyyyy!!" - "FLASH!!!" - "HAAAA!!!"
Moro is engulfed in overwhelming energy, screaming is he is utterly disintegrated. The seal glows brighter and brighter until it flares white and the sound of a lock clicking is heard just before the seal fades away.
"HAHA!!" Buu turns and begins dancing, pumping his fists, "Buu did it! Buu did it! Buu! Buu! Buu!! I did it!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Finale
Spoiler:
Just to wrap things up here in very general terms:
Goku grieves over the loss of his son and blames himself for making Videl a widow and leaving Pan without a father. Unable to wish him back with the Earth dragon balls, and the Namekian dragon balls having just been used, Goku hopes to search for the Super Dragon Balls, but Whis reminds him, it has only been a few months since the Tournament of Power. He's not entirely sure what the rules are for these multiversal dragon balls, but it seems likely to him that they cannot be used again for quite some time. Goku vows to try anyway.
Gohan finds himself in the afterlife and learns that King Kai is eager to meet him. Gohan finally has the chance to train with King Kai and upon arriving he learns that Grand Kai wants to meet him as well. Cue Gohan's Otherworld Adventures.
Meanwhile, Whis informs Beerus that it seems the Namekian dragon balls have been used to... restore... Planet Vegeta. This annoys Beerus greatly. Whis asks Beerus if he thinks they should inform Goku and Prince Vegeta. Beerus growls, incredibly frustrated, saying that those two would surely find out themselves soon enough...
Whis asks Merus how he ever expects to watch over a universe of his own if he can't control his own emotions? He tells Merus, the Grand Priest will never put him in charge of a Hakaishin if he can't be trusted to stay out of mortal affairs. Merus tells Whis he doesn't care about any of that, but Whis reminds him he's meant for grander things than patrolling a single galaxy.
Omega/7-3 asks to be taken back to Planet Jung to see what has become of it. Jaco feels they owe him that much and Goku asks to tag along. Goku says he intends to seek the Super Dragon Balls, and he asks a reluctant Krillin to come with him saying it would be like old times. Krillin says it sounds fun but that he's afraid for his life, for understandable reasons, but finally agrees when he notices how important it is for Goku. Goku seems shaken and unsure of himself. It really seems like right now maybe he needs the presence of a friend. Bulma decides to come along too prompting Vegeta to insist he tag along for her protection, but she tells him this is a private party, he wouldn't understand, besides, he has to stay on Earth to keep an eye on their children.
Chi-Chi feels devastated and more alone than ever openly moaning about what's going to become of her family, but Piccolo promises to keep her and Goten safe.
And speaking of Piccolo, Videl, not wanting to rely on anyone else to protect her or Pan now that her husband's gone, approaches Piccolo to request training. And so, on Chi Chi's farm, Piccolo ends up working the fields, training Videl, and, often as not babysitting young Trunks while Trunks comes to visit Goten.
On the other hand, Vegeta isn't getting off that easy. He has a newborn to take care of, and of course Goten goes over to the Briefs' mansion, in fact, probably even more often than Trunks goes to Chi Chi's. Not only does this put Vegeta in a hilarious situation, it also provides the two child saiyans the opportunity, between Piccolo and Vegeta to get in some very serious training. Busy enough as he is, what will Vegeta do when he inevitably learns that Planet Vegeta has been restored?
