The packaging looks dope. Hows the picture quality? Looks fine on my 4K TV. It's clearly been DNR'd, but at least for episode 1, which is all I had time to watch, it's perfectly fine. I don't have any way to compare, but seeing as the contents of the disc appear unchanged compared to the 30th Anniversary set, probably not. It didn't appear apparent with no comparison though.

The Black Bricks were VERY over-priced, an extremely limited release, came with a statue that just changed out Goku's face and arm, and were ostensibly made to celebrate the 30th birthday of Z yet still contained a lot of Funimation's BS practices. Not to mention packaging that can seriously damage the discs. I'm not surprised by this. For the longest time Dragon Box 2 was the only way English-speaking territories could get those early Namek episodes uncut and in 4:3, hence it's high price point compared to the other boxes.
