I wonder if anyone has made an list of what characters have complete costumes but are not in the game? It would make sense that those characters would be easier include. Right?

Not really, no. The costumes are made to fit the CaCs, not new character models.

DLC 12: out in spring.
So we have 3 months from now. That could mean a 4 characters pack?
I hate to burst the bubble but every time they give a season for a release date they mean the end of the season. Spring most likely means May or June. So 5 or 6 months from now.
Not once in the past, I want to say 5 DLC releases or so, have they not dragged it out to the very limit of when they can drag out the DLC releases.

You are probably right.
I only need an announcement for XV3 ...
dualist wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 10:42 pmI don't think XV3 is about the number of characters, at least I hope not. It needs to be about a complete revamp in game play and a massive leap from XV2. With so much focus on online play and raids, they need to improve the story mode, maybe include Heroes content since it all came from DBO anyway, and make the story mode coop as well. I think with a game out like FighterZ that got a ton of respect in the fighting game world, XV needs to shift its focus a bit towards open world style co op gameplay with PvP being more secondary.
I appreciate the updates and don't want to complain about a company providing updates to a game for 4+ years. We should be greaful for that! But the game needs to be better. Seeing how support characters function in Kakarot made the cpu in XV look worse than ever.
If XV3 is to come, I'm hoping for a vast improvement and not just new characters
This game is supposed to be about your character saving history, but it just feels like a rehash of the DBZ story with minor changes
Well, yeah. There are things more important than characters. But I'm thinking of this from a marketing standpoint. It's easier to get people pumped for a new character than for revamped gameplay mechanics. The latter is more naunced, whereas a character is instantly understood. If XV3 is announced, and they show off Wrathful form Broly or something, that will instantly get people hyped.
That's true, the popular characters will get the attention. But this is also game heavily influenced on creation. When it's all said and done, I just want a game that's as close to DBO as possible. Lol
That is what I wanted from XV from start as I played DBO on Taiwanese servers, but so far, XV and sequel combined didn't even scratched the barrel of DBO's story.
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?
Spoiler:

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Not even close! The DBO lore was excellent and I love how it extended the story. XV is just a rehash of the original story with slight changes.
By the way, if there are two good DBO projects available right now if you're interested.
I bought Xenoverse 2 for the Switch and I thought the Switch version has all of the content unlock? Most of the stuff is not even lock from the start of the game.

Why would the Switch version of the game have the content unlocked from the start? It's not Mario Kart 8. That makes no sense.
The epic tale of how Sean Schemmel blocked me on Twitter:
I tagged him in a thread explaining how his performance wasn't rerecorded when FUNi were redoing parts of the early Z dub for the Orange Bricks.
He thought I was misrepresenting his work by saying he wasn't in something he was in.
I explained how that wasn't the situation & did a bit of a sarcastic kinda thing involving the rerecordings FUNi did for the Z dub to show how stupid that was.
He said they didn't record him & not use his recordings.
Blocked & he deleted his response tweets to me.
???
Profit...?

And the time machine missions were actually fun and had some story, not like “beat the villain or the heroes, because they are more powerful than they are supposed to”.

Actually that could have been interesting if Xenoverse did it right.
Well hopefully if we get XV3, which I think we will, they'll deviate more from the traditional story. I loved the idea someone had a while back by having the game be about Time Patrollers vs. Time Breakers and you choose your side when you start the game. Missions, PQs, and the story mode would be slightly different depending on what side you choose.

I thought it came with all of the DLC from the start because I remember reading about it when it came out in 2017? I was wrong and you can buy the Legend Patrol with all of the stroy content complete. However, nothing is working for me when I downloaded it.

I believe it came with all of the DLC that were out by the game's release, but any DLC after that were not given for free. You may need to play the game up until a certain point to access some of that content.
