Well, basically, I would like to know if the artists who made this kind of art are always the character designers of the animes or not. Because, if the new ones are made by Yamamuro, I don't know what's going on with him.

I am currently investigating about DB calendars, it seems like since 2008 it was the last time they ever did quality pictures.

I totally get what you are saying. I believe the artists to do the calendar illustration are just random Toei Animation employees. Only the first calendars from early 90s had Toriyama Design, and some of them from 1996 because of GT.
