It's more likely that they can eat food in any condition, since it would many times be necessary for their immediate survival in battle and because of their high caloric intake.
Isn't that also an assumption as well?

The visual of Boo being sealed into his ball is flipping gross, cool but gross. Pretty cool take on it.

So this is the long awaited big bad? Hopefully he takes a more defined form. The foggy/spectral look is a bit uninspired, though I usually do like stuff like that.

Currently I don't see anyone being able to beat XXI under tournament rules, unless Gast has magic that can counter him. Teleporting people to a pocket dimension is extremely OP. If she can't kill him straight away then what is Bra to even do?

That said, I definitely think the final will be Goku Vs XXI, and I'm even less sure how he would manage it.

I'm wondering if Boo is going to be out of the story for the forseeable future. The energy needed to reawaken him would be immense, Babidi is no longer around to make it happen, and I'm pretty sure it'd be beyond the dragon balls' power to reawaken him from the ball.

I don't think Bra will win, I just think she'll be the one he decides to actually fight to show he's physically a threat as well.
