The Ginyu Force

Post by johnnyboy » Mon Jan 26, 2004 8:52 pm

Does anyone know where these guys came from? They vaguely touch on the Ginyu Force even though they are a big part in the Freeza Saga. But what are they? Is Recoome human? Who's your favorite?

All of Freeza's minions appear to be a collection of relatively strong (and by that, I mean compared to a weakling human) underlings from all across the universe; some seem human, while some are clearly alien (look at Kiwi).

Races, for the most part, really aren't gone into and depth in the show. Other than the Saiya-jin and humans, no real distinction among "races" (specifically, intergalactic races) is ever really mentioned. It's kinda fun that way ^^;;.

I'd assume that all the members of Ginyu-tokusentai are members of all different races, and are simply the bestest of the best assigned to the "elite" team.

And stuff and junk and stuff.

I know in the dub at one point Jeez says to Ginyu that Goku might be a mutant like them, but as far as I know, that's just Funimation doing their "let's just make this up and assume it probably true anyway" thing. If I remember correctly, I don't think their origin is ever explained. I believe that they're just different species of really powerful aliens.

I would probably have to say that Baata is my favorite Ginyu Force member and the reason is because he's fast and he's blue.

I'm sorry VegettoEX, I know I didn't use the quote function correctly. I was being lazy. :P

Thanks! I wish there was more to know about those guys. They must have been buds for a while to get their poses down... hee-hee.

What about those green guys. With antennae? They grow back limbs? Namplebs, or something. I vaguely remember seeing at least one of them in the occasional episode.

Well, the dogs I think pretty much fall under the category of animal/people or "non-humans".

You've got it all wrong, it's not "truffles" it's "tribbles" ^_^ (at least, that's what my fiance and his friend decided to call them one day while we were watching the dub of GT. Once I explained the name pun, they switched to calling them fruit people, since tuffles just sounds....stupid :P )

You can't laugh maniacly (maniacely?) after cursing someone. You can only do it after unveiling your Ultimate Plan! Or similar. The correct follow up to cursing would be to shake your fist.

Don't make VegCapitalE!CapitalX! ban you.

Don't think you're going to get into my good books by mentioning extremely cool characters, m'kay?
