Majin Boo's (lack of) presence in Daima

Honestly, all of this talk about how Toriyama doesn't really do much with Buu makes me feel like maybe the fandom was being a bit too hard on on him.

As far as we could tell, Toriyama had no intention to return to DB (at least, of his OWN accord), aside from guest appearances in things like Neko Majin and/or short stories like the 2008 OVA. All things that Buu's character would be absolutely perfect for.

Heck, I'd go as far as to say this kind of thing could possibly be applied to characters like the Saiyan hybrids as well.

I think Toriyama kept Boo around for Mr. Satan's benefit because they made a fun comedic duo.

I don't really mind, not sure it's a waste on him either. The actual Buu created by the witch is already dead and reincarnated into Uub. Our lovely Mr. Buu is just the leftovers of his conscience that developed by absorbing people.

I prefer him not showing up, than him falling asleep or being unreliable.

The witch created Kid Boo. However the witch has the piece of Fat Boo, that has Kid Boo, South Kaioshin and Dai Kaioshin. If she can extract Majin Boo and Kaioshin full power, without anything blocking like Dai Kaioshin heart, then it should be really powerful.

I am sure the next creation will be more powerful than Majin Kuu.

I do not think there is really too much to do with Boo as an individual but this show is still utilizing his story and type with Koo (and likely others going by what Arinsu said previously).

I am more surprised by the lack of demons of Dabura's kind in this story at all. There are a few new additions but only in the backstory. I know it is more convenient to use the recognizable Kaioshin and Namekian races but it is strange. Imagine they set a new story based on Freeza's home planet but the actual narrative focused on Zuno's origins and the Tsufruians. I still have the guess Glorio may be blood related to him but not sure that will actually pan out.

Mr. Buu is a great character. I liked very much the idea that Buu always made sure Mr. Satan would win the Martial Arts tournament and helped him make a fortune that then he would spend on candy . But if they leave him out of Daima that is cool with me. We have not seen Gohan and Videl at all, that is a true concern... for some...

In my mind, this "turned to kids" is only a saga, and in the future we could get a saga whose main characters are Goten, Trunks, Gohan, Videl, Mr. Satan and Mr. Buu.

Daima could bring more Majin Buus. I was up for a girl majin buu. Anything really but this, this Majin Kuu... oh it is a very annoying character. I will call him the jarjarbinks of Daima.
