The timing of Sparking! Zero releasing alongside Daima and including Mini Goku (with more Daima characters to follow) reminds me of when Xenoverse 2 included the Super characters (like Cabba, Hit, Goku Black/Zamasu, Jiren, and Ultra Instinct). So, I'm just wondering, is it better if from now on, Dragon Ball games only release when an anime and possibly a new movie is released? I only ask this because there's just something so synergetic about Dragon Ball games adapting anime content AS IT RELEASES. And the anime/movies give the games content to adapt rather than us returning to the days when it was just Saiyan to Boo over and over and over again.
I do realize that the games kept the franchise alive when there were no new anime/movies. So, it might be better to keep the games coming even in the absence of new Dragon Ball content. But again, I didn't grow up in the '90s when Dragon Ball Z aired new episodes and the video games adapted that content. But I was old enough to see Xenoverse 2 bring Ultra Instinct Goku into the game and now Sparking! Zero bringing Mini Goku in. And I just like that strategy better than the way things used to be. But that's only possible because we've had two new anime (Super and Daima) that provide new characters and content for the games.
Sorry for the long post, but thoughts?
Should Dragon Ball games only release with a new anime?

Rather than "with", I'd prefer that it would release after the new anime finishes. Mini Goku in Sparking Zero feels so incomplete. He doesn't have SSJ Transformation, his moveset and interactions are barebones and done as if by someone who has only read a summary of Daima etc.
Then we have to wait months for any new characters from the same series anyway, so they could have waited and polished the entirety of the game in the meanwhile. But business is business, and quick profit is the companies main priority as we've all seen.

Well there's a lot of Dragon Ball games that have online modes that are available for play at the moment (starting since Xenoverse) so I wouldn't mind the reduction but a company demands income.
I have a Dragon Ball:
