What if Daima had an alternate English dub?

Post by Hellspawn28 » Tue Mar 18, 2025 4:18 pm

Had they decided to give another English dub of Daima similar what Super did (but never finished)? I would love to see Barbara Goodson voice Kid Goku in Daima if something like that ever happens.

I would have loved to see an alternate dub of Daima if Ocean finally got another shot at recording something Dragon Ball-related. I miss hearing that cast

Bang Zoom would have been another good choice, Barbara Goodson was the best English kid Goku, although second would easily be Saffron Henderson.

A situation like Bang Zoom Super will probably never happen again though as TOEI Japan probably learned their lesson from it to communicate more with international branches of their company and not be waiting around for TV runs (like Kai on Toonami) to wrap up.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

I would love to see an alternate English dub of Daima; however, I think we're past the era of alternate anime English dubs.

Also, Crunchyroll/Funimation doesn't like the idea of alternate English dubs (like the Ocean dub of Kai and the Bang Zoom dub of Super) competing with their own English dubs.
