Wait a sec do we know if Moro arc is TV Anime or a Movie?
Looks like it’s going to be seasonal anime.

I think that was Xenoverse 3.
I feel like they would've announced it as XV3 if that was the case. This looks like it will be something else entirely.

Man, this event is the first time where Dragon Ball really feels like it's transcended into mainstream pop culture like Marvel. Like, Akio Iyoku feels like Kevin Feige right now with the way these announcements are being presented. Or even like a Nintendo Direct. Also, I'm just so glad I'll never have to hear anyone beg for the Moro and Granolah arcs anymore. We can finally put that to rest and move on into a new era of Dragon Ball. Looks like they finally figured out the rights with the manga and anime. So, we'll start seeing Moro and Granolah in the games now.
As for the Age 1000 game, it looks like Xenoverse 3 to me, but maybe it's not. And it's cool to know how Akira Toriyama designed that new character, which proves he has some extra designs and concepts out there. And even the way the trailer had the text AKIRA TORIYAMA PRESENTS gave me chills, man. This night's a fun time.

He can have an negative opinion. The issue is that he's intentionally trying to be incendiary like it's a big deal.

Only Moro (and Merus). Granolah will have to wait some more.

And we don’t really need him to bring that here. He has the bad history with Super. I’m just simply telling him that this isn’t the place for it.

I think it's going to be a seasonal anime like Daima. We might get a new arc every few years. Daima in 2024, Moro in 2027, Granola in 2029, etc...

Well, the adaptation of the remaining arcs means that, at least for now, we won't have to worry about what will happen to the IP in the coming years.

Dragon Ball is the only anime/manga franchise that can pull off such a thing, and I'm glad they're finally doing it. I really hope we can get one of these every 2-3 years.

Looks like they're taking a page from the current shonen anime zeitgeist ushered in by Demon Slayer and adapting each arc as separately subtitled seasons.
Visual style from the poster looks very nice!
Glad this will finally free up the later manga characters for multimedia appearances.

Don’t expect any animated material soon. According the Ajay, the projected internal timeframe for the Galactic Patrol/Moro arc is late 2027.
Ajay doesn’t know anything. Late 2027 is way too far. They have already said it’s in the production, so the reasonable expectation should be late 2026.

I'm hearing rumors that a presenter on stage said that Moro will be a movie, anyone heard something like this?

New mode for SZ along with new characters, hopefully the people who were disappointed by that game will be satiated somewhat. I'm very excited! They even showed Champa!
Also it was great seeing Kageyama having fun up there, what a treat.

Well, there was a one-year gap between Daima's announcement and its release, so I think it's reasonable to assume that it will be released in 2027.

Pokemon? You can argue it’s been primarily a video game franchise first since around 2002 but things like Ash finally winning a tournament (Sun and Moon) or being dropped after 25 years as a protagonist still get media attention.
I don’t particularly care for either but don’t One Piece and Demon Slayer turn up some pretty decent cash worldwide in the box office?
Shonen Jump in general* is kind of Japan’s Marvel at this point.
*And yes I am aware Pokemon isn’t a Shonen Jump IP

Honestly happy that it is the Moro Arc getting an animated adaptation instead of just a remake of super as an entire series.
Completely unrelated, I loved so much of the 2D animation in that short anniversary video, seeing Goku and Freeza fight with a style similar to Toriyama's water colors of the time felt super cool, I think more dragon ball stuff should look like that.
