I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I use to have this toy. The shirt was always detachable.

Two- little kid, about 5. So he would be kid Gohan. And didn't one of the recent games have ittle Gohan with his white headband in that gi as a character? I thought I remembered seeing screencaps of him.
Yes they did have that costume, but it was the one from when he fought the saiyans. The cos from the figure has the white leggings (are they called leggings?) at the bottom of the pants and normal martial arts shoes, the costume you mentioned has no leggings and Piccolo style shoes. Also, this is the costume Gohan wore before going into the ROSAT, so I would say it would go into the "Teen" character category.

Sorry for the double post and Google images, but I don't have a camera.

I also have a base form Vegetto like this one with a two part removable shirt that I cannot for the life of me find on Google.

Also, I have a Kuririn figure that I can't find either. It was from the set of figures that came with the mini dragonballs.

Because kids love topless boys and men.

I remember an old local comic book shop selling these toys, for some fucked up reason most of them had machine guns, and the Dragon Balls were RED with ORANGE stars.

I have to say... I kinda squealed a little when I saw that.

That's such an awesome deal... Especially for the episodes that are on it.

Geez... I never find anything cool on eBay. Congrats to you, though. That's... Just... Wow.

Talk about lucky, I didn't even see that in the Ebay listings.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Still what- like 11? That's a preteen, not a teenager. Even after coming out he's like 12.

I know he's not old enough to be considered a teenager, but that's just how they always categorized them in the games so I always referenced them like that. I guess it would make more sense to call him "Cell Arc Gohan".

Just to clear it up, since some people seems slightly confused, yep, it is just a repacked Super Battle Collection Gohan. I own that exact figure. I bought up the whole first set back in 1999 or 2000 or when ever. They were some of the first Dragonball figures I saw (Not counting those awful "dorda" figures or whatever that look practically like bootlegs, which I also own."

I don't really have a dragonball "crap collection" but I use to have this bad habit of buying bootleg dragonball z toys from China town when I was younger. I owned some pretty god awful stuff like Goku toy with dark red hair and a Cell figure that was painted purple instead of green. They were really badly made, shit fell apart as soon as you opened the package. Sometimes I would get lucky and buy the real deal from a small shop. They were dirt cheap and I didn't know why. The answer was pretty clear when the owner of the shop was arrested for selling stolen goods. Sigh, Good Times. Electronic stuff, not the DBZ toys. Although that would've been funny story to tell.

Speaking of stolen goods, I always hit China Town to shop for figurines. If you know where to look you can found some really good stuff for half the retail price. But it's so easy to get cheated out of your money, some shop owners will try to sell something way above normal price. I saw a dragonball Goku toy (I think it was the one with Goku from dragonball) for $150! When it would normal go on ebay for $10.00.

About a year and a half about I found this at a market:

(I snagged the photo from another site, I hope thats okay)
Image

It came in a slightly damaged blue box and on top of it was red sticker with the amount. I dusted it off and looked at it closely, I said to myself "No way this from a legitimate toy company. I must buy this" The amount for the statue was $17.00. I told the cashier I only had $10.00 (I lied) and she gave it to me anyway.

I looked online to see if I can find the toy on ebay to make sure I wasn't ripped off or if I hit the discount jackpot. But I couldn't find it, at least not on any American online stores. I understand there's a Bulma Figure just like this out there too. I hope I find it one day. These "sexy" statues aren't exactly the highest quality when it comes to PVC figures but they're still pretty cool.

I own both the Bulma and Launch figures, got them off ebay. Mine are from Bandai, so I'd say they're legit. $10.00 is a pretty good price as they seem kinda scarce.

My Dragon Ball Collection(It is really small not worth posting a picture up) :
Manga:
Dragon Ball/Z Kanzenban Ultimate Edition Volumes 14 to 22(the entire Saiyan and Frieza Arc) with color pages Spanish edition.

DVD:

Dragon Ball Z Volume 18 and 19 Spanish Edition Remastered 2 disc set, each disc including 4 episodes each 8 episodes in total.

Yeah it is really small I am hoping to buy more Manga when I sell my PSP and when my parents give me money to spend in Christmas.
Life is Life.

And in Japan they retail for $40 bucks each. That's one of the biggest deals on Dragonball material I have ever seen...I can't wait until I turn 18 and move out so that I'm allowed to start buying Dragonball material!
