Hi all,
You may or may not recall, but I had previously plugged my friend the Prime Legend's fanfiction Shift of Hearts, which mixed the Tenchi Muyo and Dragonball Universes together with rather interesting results. Anyway, he made a semi-AMV intro to it, taking clips from both shows and putting them side-by-side. I happen to like the end result, considering for the most part the animation styles aren't too far apart (like, they're both hand-drawm rather than one being digital). And the way he put the clips together happens to match the song, "Haruka Kanata". Say what you will about using a Naruto song, but I think it worked well!
