Could Anyone Give Me The Link To This Thread?
This thread has the different art styles used for the anime in it. Does anyone have the link for it? I don't care if it's locked, I just want to see the pictures.

Very interesting! Thanks for making (and answering to!) this thread. =D
I noticed the really disparate styles but it never occurred to me that they were done by completely different studios. For example the poor "Triangle Crap Type" animation really stood out in Trunks's first appearance since it was sandwiched between beautifully drawn sequences of "Shintou/Shindou Pro" stuff and it was really jarring. Oh well.
I draw a lot myself, and even tried animating in Flash by sketching each frame manually with my Wacom tablet... Wow. Even a few seconds of sloppily drawn animation required a ton of frames. I can only imagine that doing a few minutes of finished/polished animation would take weeks for a single person to do. Goofing around like that only heightened my appreciation for skilled traditionally trained animators. It's sad that they're losing jobs since a lot of people animate in CG or digitally now, but eh, I guess the same thing happened to buggy whip makers after Ford came around... =X
