Hmm, they did Destroy All Humans! and Dawn of War. I remain optimistic, then.

Isn't THQ mainly a publisher? I guess Atari only has the rights to games based on the anime and manga.

EDIT: I don't see THQ mentioned anywhere.

EDIT 2: Went to their source, it says the guy they just appointed to Fox's division for Licensing and Merchendising used to work for THQ, not that THQ is making the game.

Hmm, Red Faction and Saints Row, too. And the Sonic Advance series. And Conan, that was decent, in an "well I'm bored with Devil May Cry 4 and God of War II, what next?" kind of way.

But then you have Full Spectrum Warrior. I know it was praised, but I thought it was ridiculously generic with lame AI.

Then there's Aidyn Chronicles. Moving on.

And we have a whole slew of sub-par licensed games. Seriously, it appears to be the bulk of their catalogue.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

Something tells me that the "New Series" will air on Nickelodeon. I fear that, since Nick has become the center for the worst sitcoms and/or teen comedy dramas in the 21ist century.

What good games have THQ made?

The wrestling games
Broken Sword games
Sonic Advance games
Saints Row
MX vs. ATV
Juiced 1 + 2
Destroy All Humans
Full Spectrum Warrior

But like Taku128 said THQ mainly publishes. It would be like saying Warner hasn't had any good movies based on WarnerIndependent Pictures releasing the crap that was "epic movie"

Hm. When was the last time an American made Dragon Ball game came out ? Sagas? I hope this one is Kaio-Ken times 50 better than that!

DragonBall Z: Sagas (GCN/PS2/XBOX) was 22 March 2005, while DragonBall GT: Transformation (GBA) was 09 August 2005. That was it.

Sagas had potential actually in my opinion, if only someone would have play tested it and postponed it a month or two to fix the glitches.

If the characters could actually fly and the levels had more depth and were better designed then it would have been decent. They could also make it more of a free roam game instead of a mission based one and fix the cut scenes. I wish they could make a Legacy of Goku 2 but just make it 3D.

But look at what year it was. If they made a new one this year or next, then it's guaranteed to be a decent game.

I'll have to agree with you on that. The game was just a little pre-mature.

Honestly?

I don't care about this news. I knew from the start they would be doing this. Like most of you have said, it's gonna be a cheap, rushed cash-in attempt by fox.

But Toei or Atari or FUNimation have never done that before?
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I think a majority of the members here are more than aware of the 'cash-in' attempts TOEI, Atari, and FUNi have done; I don't recall the lot of us ever brushing these facts concerning those companies aside and letting it slide by without complaint

Honestly, so did I. What game let you play as ONE ARM Mirai Gohan?
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I'm aware but still love it  So what if the Budokai Tenkaichi games were rushed and very similar to each other (almost the same in fact) I still got hours of enjoyment out of them. Which I hope to from this
