No, not Transformers rape, not Alvin and the Chipmunks rape, this is worse.

Already, it's seen as a rip off of popular Hollywood movies, and the only things resembling Dragon Ball is like 30% of the characters.

To me it looked like Chatwin yelled and at the same time his hand began to glow with energy then BOOM explosion. I think it was just a simple Ki-ai and his hand glowing was just a way to convey that he was using his power to do it. I don't think they'll call it a Ki-ai in the movie though.

I must have missed the memo.

And yeah, that didn't look like a "ki blast" the way we'd think of it. More like a hand-propelled, mostly-invisible kiai. There's plenty of those in the series too (Goku's very first KaioKen-fueled move against Vegeta immediately comes to mind).

Anyway, I think we'd get a better impression of the acting and such if we could... well, hear it. But from what I can see from it, I've had one thing affirmed to me. The action is going to be flippin' (pun definitely intended) AMAZING. Whether Goku's fighting bullies, Fulum, Roshi, Piccolo, or a fish, I don't care.

This the first time I'm seeing the movie characters and stuff, but WTF!? Was that Piccolo?! Why isn't he green? Bulma doesn't have her blue hair...
Umh... Goku looks akward to say the least.

I'm too used to the Anime... I can never imagine actuall human actors playing out the roles.

When I saw the Transformers trailer, I watched it a million times. I can barely look at this with a straight face.

I kinda think all we're gonna see in the movie is that Star Wars type force energy attack deal... Maybe one kamehameha.

I imagine they're gonna go with a lot of hand-to-hand combat and mix in some CGI.

Well, I saw Dragonball stuff in that. I mean, I saw Roshi, Bulma, Goku, Mai, and Piccolo. I saw Ki manipulation. I saw cool looking fight scenes with plenty of flips and stuff. I saw a dragonball. I saw Roshi opening a case with the orange Gi in it. And so on and so forth.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way. Guess you won't be going to movies on April 10, 2009. To me the whole thing was only 40 seconds so there is a lot of stuff that didn't show plus there wasn't any sound. No it's not Dragon Ball the way we know but I feel it's worth seeing. It's just a movie based on Dragon Ball.

To call it rape seems to be over dramatic though. You act like you're surprised or some shit!

Even if that is the case, they don't bitch about Chipmunks NEARLY enough. That movie took the franchise and anally gangbanged it to the point of psychological breakdown.

It was good to the point where it actually replicated the emotions I got from watching the Cartoon and playing with the toys. I just didn't like the lack of TFs and there were too many see through characters, and they fucking KILLED JAZZ, the only Autobot in this movie who survived G1.

See, I'm of the opinion that if I wanted to see anything other than the Dragonball I'm familiar with...
I'd go see something that wasn't Dragonball.

I want to see Dragonball. Not something that references Dragonball.
