I recently purchased a Sharp SF-1, the TV with built in Super Famicom. Now I live in Australia & have a step down converter for my existing US game systems, but I was concerned about using this same converter for a JP system.
In a previous podcast Mike spoke about the differences between US & JP electrical output & how you can do something or get a device that will output the requirement for JP devices from a US electrical outlet.
I don't really want to use my SF-1 until I've sussed out exactly what this is all about. If anyone can give me some pointers that would be fantastic. Then I can get back to playing Hyper Dimension

I believe the US converter should work. Ask someone in an electronics store for help if you're worried.

Alternatively, give me a week until I'm back in Norway, and I can check the converter I use for my Famicom.

The US converter does work, I'm just worried about potential damage through long term use. Isn't the wattage different between the US & JP? Or something like that...
