Not really, if you read the Furigana, it's 3 letters, Go, Ku, and U. I fail to see why people think the letter "U"=an "H"
It's simple, ya know, "A I U E O", "KA KI KU KE KO", ect.

But doesn't that have more to do with how it sounds/pronounced, than how it would be spelled in english? I'm kinda lost on this...

Ahhh, Japanese is so hard to explain. There is a letter for each Japanese symbol that is pretty much agreed on by everyone, for instance, the letter pronounced as "Ah" is always written as "a", the letter pronounced as "E" is always written as "i", ect. Goku's Japanese name would be written in English as "Gokuu".

It's a two-parter, from what I've seen: one with Lunch in 'regular' and one in the 'blonde' form. He obviously has the 'blonde' form pic as an avatar.

Oh, and far as that on-topic rule goes...
Also, it is sort of interesting to note: Goku did say, twice, that he couldn't fight Super Buu, yet he was able to keep up with Kid Buu. Not to a great extent... but, well, better than Vegita.
