Some possible new, insider news. On the DBZonPS2 forum, one member (who for obvious reasons declines to identify himself) has given a few details about the game. Obviously it's all unconfirmed info, so take with a grain of salt.

- It will not have cel-shaded graphics, and it's not made by DIMPS. The developer is American this time. I'll give you a clue, it has some Juju up it's sleeve. (Avalanche software)

- It's not a DBZ Legends remake.

- Also it's been in production for almost a year now.

Can't say much more than that. Sorry

Despite saying he couldn't say more, he goes on to say:

The games isn't an action rpg and it's not a budokai style fighting game. It's more of just a plain action game where you run across a map and beat up stuff. The two player mode is co-op.

While this guy's info sounds interesting, I'm still a little dissapointed. I was really hoping for an action RPG finally, not a remake of Streets of Rage with DBZ characters. :?

Streets of Rage... Isn't that one of those walk-down-the-street-punching-bad-guys type of games, like Final Fight? That's what this guy's description makes me think of, anyway. For some reason, I really get a kick out of those types of games. So I'm somewhat intrigued by this, even though it doesn't sound very good.

Wow, look what atari just put up:

I can't believe it, but I'm actually impressed. If these screen shots are any kind of fair representation of this game, this may be even better than Budokai.

It kind of looks like "Legacy Of Goku" in 3d.

I'm convinced! I'll be even more if it got (a lot of) good reviews!
