Post by MCDaveG » Fri Mar 20, 2009 5:39 am

Hi guys, I'm really interested in this piece of music, but It's impossible to find out CD on sale and even the mp3's. Here I Uploaded my mp3 rips from all possible sources I found. Beware, few tracks have a quality on the edge of good and bad, all other tracks have awful sound.

Here is the megaupload link, there is You Are The Hero (Movie Version), Go For No. 1 and full length version of Cha-la head Cha-la by Age Of Wonder missing (I have the TV size here).

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UGSY6K8C

tracklist:
1. CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA (Movie Theme)
2. Get That Dragon Ball
3. A World Filled With Love
4. You Are The Hero
5. Special ZENKAI Power
6. CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA - only TV size, not Full Length
7. Go For Number One - missing
8. Love Light
9. You Are The Hero (Movie Theme) - missing

PS: This is tracklist of tape side one, as the author of blog db-forever notes, on side no. 2 there are the same tracklist but all of the songs are karaoke.

Enjoy and I hope I'm not violating terms of use, because this is really old and impossible to find one. If somebody have some of these tracks I missing here or know how to get this compilation, please hit me up))

Thanks a lot! I love these dubbed songs. It's a shame Funi never did this for DBZ. I never heard the "You Are The Hero" or "Love Light" tracks before.
Come to think of it where is "Love Light" from?

Isn't these one of those things that shouldn't be freely solicited here, seeing that it had an official domestic release and is licensed material?

Not really. Unlike other things, this came out 20 years ago, may or may not have even had a CD release, comes from the Philippines, etc.

This may be slightly off topic but was the dub of DBZ for the Philippines in English also? I would assume so since the opening and closing songs are.
Do any clips exist of this dub on the tubes?

Yes, it was in English, I read somewhere that later it was changed and different dub of show was broadcasted in Tagalog. This dub and all DB related things around in Philippines are almost impossible to find, but there on youtube are few videos with unbelievable Malaiysian English dub.

Dear lord, this version of Zenkai power is hilarious... I remember listening to it way, way back when I was a kid, along with the English version of Cha-La-Head-Cha-La, and just wondering... What in the WORLD is going on in this show!? Then, I started watching the Japanese version and never looked back~.
