I just hit 158 days without registration and so, having removed and then reinstalled the program I've found that--after being able to log on again--that when joining #daizenshuu I am the only one online (and there seems to be no set topic). Should I be doing something different? I've noticed I am not on the Rizon network but on QuakeNet.
Any help? O.o
EDIT: Silly me. I figured out what I did wrong. Ignore/close/delete this.

I don't know what the advantages of mIRC are over other programs (I know that's what's recommended on the chat page), but I didn't like the program much. Anybody with Firefox, I'd suggest getting one of the IRC plugins/extensions. I have Chatzilla and it's great. It requires no registration and you can even keep it running after you've closed the browser.

The problem is that you're on the wrong server. Being on Rizon is important. You can create any channel on any server where creating channels is allowed, but there usually won't be anyone in it.

Yeah...I figured that out about five minutes after I made the topic...
