Guys, I present you this! (More specifically, fast forward to 2:25)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siCastRzuR0

Note that the English subtitles are really bad so here's my more accurate translation.

Stephen Chow: You've forced me to execute my ultimate move!
*Stephen Chow starts doing Kame-sennin's pose*
Stephen Chow: Kame....ha....
Cheng PeiPei: Such strong ki!
Stephen Chow: me....
Little Turtle: His power level's over 80 to 90,000!
Guy on the right: Could he possibly be a Super Saiyan?
Stephen Chow: HA!!!!!
The world is your's.

In the movie, "The 40 Year Old Virgin" you can see a DBGT Action figure laying on the bed while Andy is playing with Aquaman.

In that first Gintama clip, it sounds like his second Kamehameha is imitating the voice of Cell.

Or is that just me who hears that?

I remember seeing a few Dragon Ball toys in a bed room in War of the Worlds I think, the Tom Cruise one.

Which starred also Justin Chatwin.

Oh yeah, that's it, there's also a Dragon Ball Z shirt that Reese wears in Malcolm in the Middle, which stars Bryan Cranston as Hal who was in a few anime films, and OVAs, he played Isamu Dyson in the Macross Plus OVAs, and the opening to Malcolm in the Middle has shots from an anime called Nazca.... so... yeah...

This is from the anime Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei (Goodbye, Mr.Despair) episode 03, around 13:45 in.

Speaking of fusion dance, there's something similar in season 3 of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's basically a firebending martial arts style.

Warning: Season 3 spoilers.

I don't know if you could call it a reference, but everyone who sees it goes, "FUUUU-SION HA!"

Er... Also speaking of the fusion dance:

Its something too similar to not be considered an homage. I'm moderately sure that this was featured on the front page a few years back, though.

Was that a deciding factor in my purchase of a Zune? Almost definitely.

This is a parody from Yakitate!! Japan:

It's about a guy that wants to make a bread that represents Japan.
In that page, one of his colleauges is going to compete against that Kamehameha woman in the semifinals for a great baker's competition.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

Totally. When I first saw that episode and Aang and Zuko started doing the "Dragon Dance," I immediately noticed that distinct resemblance to the Fusion dance of DBZ, and I don't think it's just a coincidence. That would be a pretty crazy coincidence if it is.

Another reference from the anime with the fusion dance...kind of...This is Zoku Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei, episode 2, about the first 9 minutes of the episode is spoken in "Pororocian" (Gibberish, basically). The subtitles aired with the anime are fake, and tell a random story of "Goku looking for Dragonballs" among other random...things. The English on the top are translated dialog from the manga equivalents from the subbers.

Last night, at 4 in the morning, I was channel surfing. I came across one of my favorite shows, MXC. If anyone doesn't know about this show, here's a clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvixfNGGd_A This may seem like an English show because it's in English. But you can clearly tell that it's from Japan! It's a Japanese game show of death known as" Takeshi's Castle"

Now that that's over, here's the reference, which I thought was cool. There was a contestant, a Woman, who came up for the next death-trap. She was dressed as Son Goku. Yes, complete with the Orange and Blue Gi with the Turtle symbol, Blue belt, a tail[/B[ strapped to her ass, and the hair. And for some reason, she had some kind of Green Turtle-helmet-thing. It looked plastic, and not like how a real Turlte would look. I wish I could find a clip, but that's nearly impossible, because most of the clips on YouTube are of people getting the shit beaten out of them.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I miss Takeshi's Castle T.T.

That show was dubbed to Arabic and renamed to "الحصن": Alhesn = "The Fortress"

It was one of the "lunch time" TV shows back in the day...

WWE Day of Reckoning (Gamecube) had a couple of things in the character creation mode. The "Super" hairstyle is clearly the SSJ Goku hair. There is also battle armor like Vegeta's.
