Will Orange Hero ever see a release?

Post by Rory » Sun Oct 18, 2009 5:02 pm

Orange Hero seems to be the black sheep of Dragonball music, because as to my recollection, there has never been a Dragonball vocal song that has recived no form of CD release (I'm talking about Japanese Dragonball songs, obviously). Why do you guys think this is? Do you think it has something to do with liscencing, 'cause I've never heard this band perform a Dragonball song before. But more importantly, will it ever see a release?

There's no release, sadly. Maybe someday?

Yes, I searched too and nothing...... But I don't care, myself I wanted Budokai Tenkaichi soundtracks..... single with opening, yeah, nice!
Also I wanted 70% of unreleased DB and DBZ music..... probably never.
Also there is one fine track on Hyper Promo..... no way.

It's not the only unreleased thing..... Even anime which aren't that much popular as DB are getting proper music releases.

It's kinda twisted, Zillions of DB game releases, which I got little tired from but no proper BGM release at least, but It's nice that I have about 5 versions of makafushigi adventure

Yeah, as MCDaveG said, there has been at least one other vocal song to not have been released (the Hyper Promo song).

This song (Orange Hero) is more than likely to be released solely through jeaklb, seeing as how every other bit of music from that special has already been released, so it won't be getting it's own soundtrack (presumably). I guess if we get a new chouzenshuu style music collection, Orange Hero might be included, but if there is no real extended version, and the ~1.5 minute version used in the special is the only version jeaklb made, there won't really be any needed desire for a CD release, since it can just be ripped from the DVD completely clean and in good quality.

I'm also finding it incredibly odd that, even after the DVD release in Japan, there's been no CD single even announced at all for the song.

For the record, Battle Stadium D.O.N.'s vocal opening theme from Hironobu Kageyama & Hiroshi Kitadani, "don't give up!", also never saw a CD release.
