Estimates and Predictons

I know that in other threads people have posted their estimates and predictions as to what is going to happen and when. I figured it would be nice if there were a thread devoted to such a thing.

Looking at the general pace so far, and going off of what Wasted Wisher recently said about Vegeta flipping the bird at Krillin in episode 28, I'm making a rough guess that Goku is going to transform into a Super Saiyan around episode 43, give or take. After that, maybe another three or four episodes for all of that to wrap up to the point just before the story arc changes and Freeza heads for Earth.

Oh, this is all based on all things being equal in terms of spreading out the story through the episodes. By the same logic, I'm thinking that there'll be approximately 110 episodes.

What do you think? What are your estimates and predictions?

I have a feeling Krillin's "bullride" and Vegeta's death will be drastically edited...

Kuririn blasting a giant hole in Vegeta will be censored.

(It's like I'm really back in the toonami season 3 days!)

Edit: Whoops looks like someone got there before me.

I wonder how they will censor Freeza getting chopped in half, I'm guessing it will just be a blood edit.

I'll throw in another prediction.

LOTS of reanimated scenes. I havn't seen the Freeza arc in anime format, but what I said is based on this:

Is it just me or does the animation around the second half of the Freeza saga really start to get... bad? It doesn't look bad at all in the manga. Toriyama's drawing style is obviously changing a lot during this time, but it doesn't look warped like in the anime. A lot of the color seems bland, the character's faces (especially the eyes) look really jerky and sporadic, a lot of the ki blasts look like yellow paint blobs splattered on the screen, and both my girlfriend and I have noticed that (in the Japanese version) a lot of the voices are off-sync with the animation. Is there a reason why this particular part of the series looks so weird? Or am I just crazy?

But from what Iv'e seen in the last 16 episoeds, they won't redo anything like this

I'm guessing that there was enough of an outcry with the censorship and that it would be too much of an editing problem with things that could've been edited so far after Goku and Raditz' deaths that we'll be seeing less of it. Tenshinhan's dismemberment makes me confident that we'll see Freeza get cut up the way we hope he does.

I'm not sure there'll be any reanimated scenes. Redrawn using the same animation, like we've seen so far, will probably be all they do.

Toei must re-animate that episode. It doesnt bother me at all but they could have done better. It looked like they were too lazy to make that episode more appealled.
