ChiChi. Also more GT characters.
Eh...nuh. If the next Spike game follows the same fighting system as BT3 and Raging Blast, they'll likely reduce the character roster or put in pointless characters like a Kanassan or Uranai Baba, like BT3 did.

If Namco Bandai want to draw in more sales, they should make an entirely new series which isn't one of the two fighting systems. I've seen too many comments on Youtube concerning which one's the better fighting system.

And PLEASE, make a Dragon Ball game which includes the whole Pilaf Arc to 23rd Tenka'ichi Budokai Arc. DB didn't end at the Red Ribbon Army Arc, guys!

Woah, Baba's playable in BT3? Haha, oh wow.

With all this talk of characters, why haven't we seen Freeza Troopers like Buleberry?

Hell, they could work as costumes.

Costume 1 could be Generic Guy
Costume 2 could be Buleberry type
Costume 3 could be Appule type

Costume changes are costumes. Appule is much shorter than the generic Freeza soldiers, so he either needs a smaller hitbox (ie, a seperate character) or y'all would bitch and moan because 'Appule' reacts to punches that go over his head.

Or they could just not make him shorter... ya know.

I really don't understand why they removed characters.

To give you a reason to buy the sequel. If they had kept adding from where they were, they'd be like, "Now play as characters such as Pigero and the Kempo guy from West City that Goku fought on the way to Bulma's house!!!"

Hey! Don't you ever treat Kempo guy like that! Kempo guy is freakin' awesome. He's like the Farmer With Shotgun of DB. When Kempo guy finally gets the roster spot he deserves, my life shall truly feel complete.

With less characters, they can improve on the gameplay and the other stuff in the game. One thing I did not like about BT3 was that I feel like they where just adding new characters, and the gameplay was nothing really new at all.

Because you're clearly after a good game.

Am I an idiot for not understanding what this means, or should I be thankful I'm not so much of a nerd that I know the ins and outs of video game mechanics?

But yeah, Nappa has been available since Budokai 1, and I have never played as him. There are tons of characters we don't need.

They just simply would have more time to devote to other things instead of making 130 skins for the same general model.

I know this a response to an older post but.... WHAAAAAT? Pointless Characters, You say!? They didn't include Paragus, Draculaman, Nezi, Bora, Upa, Gurumes, Non-SSJ4 GT Vegeta, The Spice Boys, etc., etc.
I, personally, will not rest until we have a DB game with Panput, Garlic (not Jr.), Oolong, AND Ran-Fuan as playable characters with RIDICULOUSLY original movesets!!

... And the really sad part is that I'm not joking

Why not make a game with every singel person from the series in the game, why not add the AT Tori-bot why you are at it.

And make a new game with the best gameplay and online play.

I just played what was easily the most frustrating game of my life. Ever. Any game ever. For the last sixteen fucking years. Easily.

Somebody had Gotenks so rigged up that he couldn't flinch from any attack ever (when I say that I mean even my characters who had an item to negate that couldn't make him flinch), he started in high tension, and every hit he landed on me gave him ki.

He also maxed out the damaged that his ultimate could do. He attacked he while I defended, which gave him ki. He almost never broke my guard, but he managed to attack me long enough to get him in to high tension. He'd break my guard and spam his ultimate.

He also had an item that reduced the amount of ki it took to do his ultimate. This way he could do his ultimate three to four times without charging his ki.

This went on for nearly fifteen minutes until I just turned off my 360.

This was a team match. I lost all five men to Gotenks. All of them.
