Burst Limit 2: Hints of moving to PSP?

I don't play handhelds. Would anyone be interested in this?

Only thing I'd want to see are new characters added.

I'd like to see the actual Famitsu article rather than going off of a translation from a translation.

But it makes sense. PSP games, despite the rampant piracy, are actually selling pretty OK (or rather, CAN be selling pretty OK if they're decent games). Valkyria Chronicles had its sequel show up on the PSP due to a combination of that fact AND that it's significantly cheaper to develop for the PSP than it is the PS3 (duh).

Hopefully this will be a spin off (like Shin Budokai), with a true sequel still in the works. I'd be amazingly pissed if this was the direction Dimps is taking the Burst Limit franchise.. it makes no sense, even from a business standpoint.[/i]

Well...this sucks.

Luckily, I already plan on getting a PSP for Birth By Sleep...whenever that comes to the US.

In Japan, yes. In the west I don't think I'd even consider current PSP software sales "OK". They'd pretty much be throwing away any chance of good sales in the west.

But I guess DragonBall games make most of their sales in Japan, right?

Sounds a lot more interesting than the first one, which just seemed like a waste of time. Might look into it.

Aw, and I just sold off my PSP, too.

It was the old, heavy-as-a-brick model anyway. I'll upgrade eventually and snatch this up if it ends up any good.

Don't you just hate it when they make a sequel to a console/handheld you don't own?!

One my favorite games is "Shinobido: Way of the Ninja" for the PS2, and the sequel is made for the PSP.

BUT I DON'T HAVE A PSP!

Now, why would they make a PSP sequel to a game made for the freakin' Super Mega Awsome Hi-Def PS3?! a port? Maybe... but a sequel?!

Metroid II. Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Dragon Quest IX. Valkyria Chronicles. Okamiden.

There's plenty of precedent.

*Sulks because she doesn't have/want a PSP, but really liked Burst Limit*.
:(

Guh, it's "The New Super Mario Bros" all over again. I loved playing that on my DS, but the sequel is on the Wii. I don't have a Wii. >_<

Why do these companies do such things? (Aside from trying to get you to buy more consoles.)

Part of Burst Limit's allure was that it was the first DB PS3 game.
On hiatus.

If a Burst Limit on PSP proves to be true, this is the most depressing DBZ game news ever. I liked my BL on PS3!

:( This makes Burst Limit 2 on PS3 even more less likely.

First Valkyria Chronicles, and apparently now Burst Limit? I swear, if FFXIII Versus comes out for PSP, I'm going to being the reason the world ends in 2012....
Not a problem.

I'm calling bogus until I hear something from a valid source. I wouldn't mind a Burst Limit game on my PSP(in fact that would be fun) but I'm having a hard time believing this.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I believe PSP games can become downloable on PSN like a month or two after they come after? If this is a sequel or a spin off then it will likely be on PSN for non PSP fans to play with.

Actually the psn stuff for psp like full games is for PSPGo so they can buy games. They don't work on ps3. ps3 is just used to transport it from psn to psp.

However psp minis now work on ps3 but they are mini games not full psp games.

So you can't download them on from PSN to PS3? That sucks, but I might get a PSPgo when I get the money.

Awesome. A new PSP Dragonball game is exactly what I wanted. It's different enough from the Shin Budokai's to be worth a buy. For me anyways. I wish it would've been something like Attack of the Saiyans, or Dragonball Origins, but oh well. New DBZ on something I actually own is awesome.

Though I was planning on spending a $50 Gamestop gift card on a used, fat NDS. I guess I still will since this probably won't even be out until the second half of next year. But it says they're still just "considering" moving it over to the PSP, so we really can't be too sure, can we?

Never had much interest in getting a PSP... unless the game offers something really new, I don't think it will be enough to change my mind.
