Well, I never showed off my collection round here, so.....I'll show what I can, some of my DBZ stuff (mostly the stuff from when I was a kid) is at home which is far away from where I go to college....

Image
My one lonely Kanzenban+ old English releases...two of them are from when I was first into Dragon Ball long ago, the others were because a comic book shop were getting rid of them for a buck a pop. I don't read them much and I don't know if I'll ever collect all of the Viz releases, they don't interest me that much.
Image
However, I AM slowly in the process of collecting all of the Tankobon..slow goings though.
Image
Illustrations book...and offtopic, that Rockman art book is AMAZING...the result of my last Kinokuniya trip.
Image
I've had this poster FOREVER.....1998-1999 sounds about right.
Image
If you want to see closeups I have a whole album of pictures I took one day on a bored whim....
Image
Image
Kinokuniya stationary= love
Image
Image
I got bored one day and also wanted to customize my DS with something that wasn't just the boring stickers that are mass produced....I found a website that has a template and used that to make this thing.

That's all the stuff I have at school...I've got more at home, and unfortunately I lack pictures of everything but this:

Image

That poster is easily my favorite Dragon Ball thing I have EVER. My mother found it in a comic book shop one day when I was a kid, had it framed for me. No idea how it got stateside but it's cool none the less and I love it. (Also, Budokai poster. >_>)

Other things I'll take pictures of in a few weeks when I go back home for the holidays....mostly US knick-knacks/toys, books, and more comics.

I took this picture for a contest on another site, but as long as I have it, I might as well share it here too. This is my entire Dragon Ball Collection. With the exception of a poster.

Image
Budokai 2, BT3 (Wii), Burst Limit, Daizenshuu 1, Dragon Ball Season 1, Dragon Ball Z Seasons 1-8, Dragon Ball GT Seasons 1&2, Dragon Ball Z Steelbook Double Features 1-7, and last but definitely least Dragon Ball Evolution Blu-Ray.

That is all. I don't plan on collecting much merch. Just DVDs, Games, and maybe Manga in the future.

This is an old board game that I bought in 2002:

Image

Look at that crappy board game logo where they made their best attempt at replicating the DBZ logo font

Image

They actually spell Vegetto right (well, almost)!
Image
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Heh that's cute. Is it fun?

By the way, I have 3 different versions of "Dragon Ball font" on my computer. Straightforward, slanted to the left, and slanted to the right.

Here's a kinda odd Dragonball figure in my collection. It's a #17 figure that actually broke in pieces a few years ago. I was a little freak as a kid, smashing my DB toys..... only ones that I didn't like. Like a Piccolo figure I had (I think it was from one of Irwin's "Battle series" where they punch/kick etc) and (for some damn odd reason) a Pui-Pui figure (Must of been Irwin) Loved that figure. Well, here's the image of #17 broken up, I even have all his pieces:

Image
See, he has his head, front chest piece, back piece, both arms, both legs. :D

Here's where he gets odd, I can put him back together no problem. Here he is re-assembled:

Image
Yeah, he comes back together nicely. I just take his front piece, pop his legs, arms, and head in, and snap the back peice in, and he looks like new. Except for a little broken piece in his bandanna, here's an image of that:

Image
See how it's uneven? That's where it snapped off.

Yeah, I got a camera for Christmas! =D
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

So I thought I'd bump to say... I got my DragonBox! And it's awesome! ... Except for one little thing.

At some point during delivery, it changed hands from UPS to just the postal service. Odd, because I specifically selected the 'UPS Ground' option when I ordered it on RightStuf. Regardless, somewhere, somehow, it apparently received a bad bump from something and the bottom edge of the box got dented, with the DVD book #1 being cracked along with it.

Image Image Image
(The lighting in the first picture makes the damage to the box look worse than it actually is.)

However, the damage is purely cosmetic, and restricted to that one spot. The DragonBook is fine, the discs themselves stay securely in place like they should and aren't damaged in any way, the box isn't falling apart or anything, and you can't even see it once it's on the shelf. But it's still a bit of a killjoy.

Oddly enough, the damage is ONLY on the DragonBox itself. The packaging it came in through the mail shows no signs of taking a hit. That might suggest it took the damage BEFORE it was packed up and mailed to me, which is kind of frustrating and confusing. So if such is the case, that would probably make it RightStuf's fault and easier to complain and get something done about it.

Nevertheless, as it is now, I don't think the damage is quite worth making a fuss and getting it replaced over. I'll be gentle and keep an eye on it. If the cracks in the casing get larger or it otherwise gets worse, THEN I'll look into it. Otherwise, I've always been more concerned about the FUNiBoxes' contents rather than their packaging. I've waited too darn long to get my hands on this set, so I'm not wasting another few weeks replacing it if it's not really necessary to do so.

Kaboom, you seem to be just another victim. My box, and I know others on here have had the same problem, was also damaged, although the outside packaging was fine. Two of my discs are scratched though, and I only have had the time to check one, it played fine though, so I guess I am not that concerned.

This is very interesting considering out of all 9 season sets, not one of mine was ever damaged, or had loose discs, ever.

Ah, I see. I hadn't been watching the "I got my DBox" posts very carefully, since it was only making my lack of one more painful. XD Has packaging damage on yours or anyone else's gotten worse over time?

Also, I seem to recall there was some sort of issue concerning a design flaw in the box. Something about a part peeling off, I think? I should go check out the dedicated DBox thread for that, I guess.

Can't really comment on that, since I bought all nine of my bricks in actual physical stores.

Wow that is a very huge dent, and its weird because I just received a Moon Phase boxset from rightstuf a couple days back and it was also dented on the outside, which isnt a big deal since I dont really care about Moon Phase, but if my Dragon Box was dented I'd ship it back and get a return, which I know rightstuf would kindly do.

All of my season sets have been fine except for season 8. When I opened it up disc 4 was loose, so I put it back in and tipped the box upside down and disc 4 and 5 fell out. There were no pieces inside the set so I dont think it got damaged in shipping. It didn't really bother me because the Dragon Boxes are coming out, it was just strange because all my other sets have been fine.

I'm think I am going to just buy all future DBox releases at my local best buy, that way I can inspect the packaging a head of time and if for some reason the inside is damaged, the return will take far less time and effort.

OH MAH GAWD I GOT MY DBGT DBOX.

It's beautiful. It actually makes the American DBox look like a little piece of crap.

So you know how I was going to just deal with the cosmetic damage to the box because the discs themselves were fine? Yeah, so much for that. I was a good chunk of the way through Disc 3, when suddenly playback just froze up about halfway through episode 18. Upon more closely inspecting that disc, it appears to be slightly warped and bent in one spot. I don't know whether or not that's definitely from the hit the box took, but it's enough of a reason now for me to return the set to Rightstuf in exchange for another copy. I've already gotten all the info from them that I need, and will ship it out tomorrow after I watch a few certain other parts tonight.

That really sucks! Luckily i didn't have any big problems with my Dragon Box. The only small problem is the shiny Dragon Box logo which isn't aligned correctly and looks kinda weird. Hopefully all the other Dragon Boxes will arrive in perfect condition for everyone.

It took me 10 years, but I finally have all of DBZ. Now for gratuitous pics:

Yeah, out of order, and mixed up, but didn't feel like taking everything out, so just used old pics put before, and new one of what I got since those top three pics were taken.
