I, for one, am excited about these.

These original art pieces that FUNimation has been getting for their covers are super good.

Yup, people have been bashing the new covers, but I for one, like Detective X here, like them a lot! I like the new design, and the new art! Is that art really new from Japan? Or did they get someone to do it like Movie 7's?

Thanks Tanook! Always on top of things! ^_^

Those covers a very original. If we could judge these books by the cover then I guess everyone is in for a real good treat.

They're just screen-caps, with a little bit of photoshop magic...pretty decent if you ask me.

Overall I'd say it's looking pretty good, although I don't agree with releasing two 3-episode disks at a time. Why not just release one 6-episode disk instead?

$$$ ...Oh yeah, I almost forgot.

Was the title ever written "Doragonbooru Z" in Japan? I've never seen anything but "DragonBall Z" and "Doragonbooru Zetto".

I have to agree, the whole 3 episodes thing has gotten a little old. They seriously need to pick up the pace. I mean, come on ... 3 episodes of Gohan's traning

zzzzz

I'm pretty much sick of Funimation's photoshop art. I could do things better than that.

Where's the beef?

I don't like them. They're not very pleasing to the eye and look like a 14-year-old's Computer Art class project.

Agreed, at least they're more pleasing to the eyes compared to the screencaps.

Damn guys. At least they're putting more effort into it. Even though most of us would prefer some original work on the cover like most, if not all, anime series have.

WAY too much Gohan, not enough Goku and/or Vegeta.

God, it's a COVER. Get over it and get a life. Geez. And as for the 3 episodes, it's not going to change. Not when it's already established like this. Deal with it. It's not going to kill you.

But it IS going to kill my wallet :P . Seriously, I'm sure everyone knows the 3 episode format isn't going to change. FUNimation did it that way before and made big bucks, so why change. Just kind of irkes you when you think about how you can buy the full season of another show in a box set for only $60-$80...

ANYWAYS, the box covers look nice at least. I'm not too crazy about the Gohan one, but it's neat. I really like 'Piccolo's Plan' though, and the Dead Zone cover looks good.
