This leads me to wonder, as I haven't paid much attention since I've been bored by the recent updates, was it ever stated that the whole comic would take place in that single arena? When I first got into this comic, I was expecting to actually see multiple universes, not just some tournament. Hopefully when the big baddie behind everything pops up, we can finally seem some nice changes of location, hell, maybe everyone will be forced to go on a journey of some kind.

Maybe during THAT journey, many characters are split up and get stuck with their other selves, that opens up to some unique character development when they can learn more about...themselves(or their old foes) as they befriend each other as they work together. I really hope such potentially great directions don't go to waste in this story.

I highly doubt they would do something THAT daring. Although it sounds really good, it also sounds like a lot of work, which to be honest doesn't seem to be their forte. They seem more like the simple story-lots of fighting approach.

Both Saiyan and Human are exactly the same in every aspect except tail. How was Gohan produced if Goku's *ahem* rod wasn't meant to be for human anatomically? Even if Saiyan is an alien, they are still human in appearance.

Actually it doesn`t have to have exactly the same format as a human one to be able to function well with a human. It can be slightly different and work perfectly with a human. But since we did get to see Goku`s penis in the manga we must conclude it is the same.

But enough of that.

Why I hate this fight: we got a BAD retcon that doesn't even explain why he can go toe-to-toe with any Vegetto, let alone this one. LSSJ = Invulnerable, while Invulnerable = still able to get hurt anyway and somehow at least as strong as SSJ2 Vegetto from a universe that's had him training for 27 years.

Nah.To better enjoy this fight, I'm going to retcon their Broly retcon:

Everybody: Oh hey, it's Broly!! Ahh, whatever, he was never stronger than Cell, anyway. Besides, he'll be fighting Vegetto. VEGETTO. Who's been training for almost 30 years!

The Dai Kaioshin: It's perfectly understandable. Saiyans have two special abilities that make them incredibly powerful: the ability to tap into zenkai when they come close to death, as well as the ability to transform into a powerful 'Super Saiyan'. Normally, when a Saiyan first transforms into this stage, he loses the ability to tap into his zenkai. However, once every thousand years, a special Saiyan is born who can transform his Super Saiyan stage into yet another form, one that can continuously tap into the zenkai. Most universes has this Broly character dying before he became a threat: in some, he was killed on the day of his birth. Those that had him survive showed him die shortly after awakening the Legendary form, before he was a threat. Others still had him survive that battle, but had him incapacitated for several years and thus defeated again before becoming too powerful. This Broly seems to have surived one of those battles and thus continued to grow in power for 20 to 27 years.
