how many episodes are on disc 1 and disc 2 ??? 6-7 or 7-6 ???
The word "KAI" means in the old North Germanic language Frisian "Kämpfer engl. Fighter" respectively "Krieger engl. Warrior"!

Because they aren't gonna pay more money because a few people want as close to a 50/50 split on a two disk set.

It... really doesn't cost any more money to split episodes evenly among the same number of discs. But it makes sense to put as many episodes as possible in one disc without hurting the bitrate, since that'll keep you from having to swap the disc until later.

Why exactly does that cost more money? Is Disc 1 dual layer and Disc 2 single layer or something?

EDIT: I guess my question was just answered below.

There is actually a significant cost difference between single layer and dual layer Blu-ray disks for professional replication.

He or she has to stand up twice if they want to watch the show in one sitting. I guess the 2nd time just isn't worth it if there is only 4 episodes.

The format the way he wants it is 7,6 or 6,7

The Blu-ray is 9,4. Same amount of times he has to get up.

I don't particularly care how the episodes are split up, but I do happen to think that there should be 16 episodes in this set rather than just the 13 we have. O_o

Yes, that is the exact setup of the two disks.

Yes but for 4 episodes!? Pfffft, I'd rather not watch them at all if it means me having to stand for that amount. There better be like cake placed next to the TV to sweeten the deal or something! At the very least it should be packaged with a ding dong.

(I sincerely hope the internet can sense the sarcasm in this post.)

But the time to watch at Disc 2 is shorter than Disc 1.

i mean you want to take a break if you watch a 4h movie after 2h ??? or ??? and not after 3,5h !!

is "blue" the only one who understands me? ^^

@Treklin
Unfortunately your ally Blue, yeah, he was being sarcastic. I think he was making fun of you.

And frankly, you'll be swapping discs the same number of times regardless, what does it matter if your second disc has lesser content? If the option were presented to you, do you seriously think you'd be sitting there through the entire 5 and some odd hours without getting up even once, totally uninterrupted? Or, even to a lesser extent, the 3 and some odd hours already presented in disc one?

If you can manage THAT, I'll concede...
...you have greater bladder control then I.

If you're so concerned by the whole process, you could try timing it for when you plan to get up next (maybe, I dunno, to get a drink, a snack, or make a sandwich?). That, or just accept that shit doesn't always go according to your whims, and sometimes you have to settle. Oh, and maybe be thankful you don't have to deal in three episode singles anymore; 'cause if you wanna talk hassle, this is fucking LUXURY, compared to those days.

We are certainly not being abused by having double-digit episode half-sets, that have oddly sprinkled numbers of episodes across their discs.

Making fun of is a strong term, I prefer good natured ribbing! Really though, it's just standing up. That's not really a difficult task unless you're a 500 pound hambeast or have some serious physical handicap. If you are seriously handicapped I can understand the complaint I suppose but otherwise it seems like an unnecessary thing to be worried about.
