If I recall, the original shot wasn't that much better...

Yeah, but Toei had something that existed before with the Raditz shot and they made it worse just like a lot of areas in Kai.

Oh, no, I wasn't trying to compare the original to the redrawn. I'm just saying that, for the people who are defending the in-between shots on the opening of Kai, I just can't recall ever noticing in-betweens that bad in the original series. And don't say, "You're not supposed to notice them," because, well, you're right, I didn't consciously. But I always did notice something weird about the animation in Dragon Soul that displeased me, and I'm really thinking now it was these horrendously horrible in-betweens.

Very nice. Though white is such a boring color. Even if it's just a little.

I don't hate the super busy cover, but I also like the simple cover of the actual release. Either one would be fine to me, but a busy cover would look best looking like the
Jump Special instead of just a bunch of random moments pasted all over each other.
