amazing boxart again ... french dragonball rules ...
The word "KAI" means in the old North Germanic language Frisian "Kämpfer engl. Fighter" respectively "Krieger engl. Warrior"!

He's referring to the movie "My Neighbor Totoro" by world renowned animated filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.sangofe wrote:I really don't get your reference.SonGokuGT wrote:All I have to say is: "Sweet Totoro slippers!"
As for the sets, I really love the box art! Probably one of the best I've seen in awhile for any release.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

I got a pm from coola asking if they have japanese next episode previews subbed in French, and that answer to that is "Yes."

That and we get a few shots of Sangofe's slippers in some of the pics, which are of Totoro himself..:PoetikaL:. wrote:He's referring to the movie "My Neighbor Totoro" by world renowned animated filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.sangofe wrote:I really don't get your reference.SonGokuGT wrote:All I have to say is: "Sweet Totoro slippers!"

I didn't take these pictures, so they wouldn't be "my slippers". But please, go on topic again, if you want to discuss or have questions, feel free to ask, if not, let the topic die.Dayspring wrote: That and we get a few shots of Sangofe's slippers in some of the pics, which are of Totoro himself.

Are they Remastered?

Yes, they are.Choice195 wrote:Are they Remastered?

From what I've heard they're much like the Spanish sets. Taken from a Dragon Box source but PAL and interlaced which leads to some ghosting.sangofe wrote:Yes, they are.Choice195 wrote:Are they Remastered?

Not my pictures, all credits go out to gillou2501 at the animeguides forum (am too tired to translate atm), here's his post:
A bon entendeur...

Really liking the cover arts on those releases. I don't know much about the actual content on them, but it looks as though they are remastered, which is good.sangofe wrote: Most of them, really, especially the DB and GT releases:

Yeah, I think they re-use all of FUNimation art!
Re: French Dragonball DVD "collector" - box 2 picture update.
Um, guys, it's not just FUNimation's art. It's Toei art that FUNimation happened to use, too.
