Would anyone be interested if that was something done again (albeit, in a more controlled manner)?
Yeah, sure, but I felt it was already in a controlled manner. Kudos to Schemmel for his ssj3 transformation scream in movie 12. No other Goku VA can top that. Absolutely beautiful.

Absolutely agreed. I've tried to give her a chance, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Yes. But in the rare instances that an English dubbed version of a Dragon Ball product has used Goku's full name, please tell me: did they refer to him as Son Goku or Goku Son? I rest my case.

No, but in the overall grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter nor hurt the product.

Not to mention "Goku Son" looks and sounds retarded. I wouldn't get my panties in a twist if they they kept it as Son Goku in a English dub. Other than the fact that, ya know, Goku isn't even from earth, and Japan doesn't exsist in Dragon Ball's universe. Can't we overlook the surname/honorifics and just call him Son Goku in this world with animal people and dinosaurs?

Um, I... never said it did. I was just saying that's how it is. Because that's how it is.

Isn't that scream digitally altered to be that ridiculously extended? I doubt he has that kind of lung power.

Actually, he has a lot of training in using his lungs and breathing techniques with instruments (though I forget which one he used) and even taught music. It's likely his own natural go.
I do look forward to seeing the dub continue, I want to see how some of Freeza's Soldiers differ since the previous dubbing.

That's the western pratice for
contemporary Japanese names only. Historical and classical literary Japanese names, and all Chinese names are kept in their original order. The name "Son Goku" falls under at least one of these.

I think that one was, but Schemmel
really can scream. The SS3 transformation scene in the Boo arc was just awesome.

Oh, okay. That's pretty awesome he as training, thought. I didn't know and wanted to get that cleared up if that was an altered scream or not. I mean, damn! That scream goes on for forever!

I think there were two screams, if so, then the second one begins after the whole Grand Kai scene where everything is shaking due to Goku's power, but I could be wrong. The transformation against Fat Buu is
definitely segmented though.

You can hear the scream in the background as Grand Kai talks.

I suspect that's because most of the character's names already sound Western. IE, 'Robin' is a common Western family name, 'Nico' isn't, but is a first name.

Besides, "Luffy D. Monkey" and "Zoro Roronoa" sound stupid.

Beat me to it. He's still screaming it, just at a low volume.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Yeah, but I thought that during a discussion here a while back it was stated that the first scream was digitally altered into a second one during that scene. Of course, I haven't seen it in a long time and I am likely misremembering stuff.

This. Without looking into it, you'd think "Monkey" and "Roronoa" were first names.

But they're not. The characters are rarely referred to by their last names (Zoro is called by his more so than anyone else, but that's really only by his foes). Luffy, his dad and grandpa all have the same family name of 'Monkey' too.
Of course, if they were to switch the order the wanted posters would make no sense. Gol D. Roger's nickname of 'Gold Roger' would also not work.
With Son Gokû, he's based on Sun Wu Kong so the pun there also doesn't work if you switch it around.
