Was Ginyu's little "FEEL the joy!" during the Dance of Joy in the Japanese version? That really got a laugh out of me.

The dance of joy thing was in the jpn version, yeah. And in the ocean dub. And in the season sets redub. And here, too. It's everywhere...

I know the Dance of Joy was, but during it did he say something along the lines of "Feel the joy!" in the Japanese one?

I quite like Recoom's Z Kai voice. Now that his retardedness has been toned down, I've got no issues with it.

I don't see the big stink about it either, the "Jock having fun" is coming through to me. Some of the laughing is a little annoying, but kind of in a amusing way this time around, it's toned the hell down from Z anyway. Meh, Jpn Z: semi-smart jock/ Kai dub: dumb jock, Chris's Kai version certainly has more character than the generic Japanese Kai voice that Reacome had.

Did anyone notice that Dragon Soul didn't change over to the 2nd animation because according to Kanzentai episode 30 is the first to do so.

I'm not surprised, the editing is so lazy on the condensed TV versions of the opening and endings. Whoever was in charge of that phoned it in big time, no visual flow with the lyrics at all.

Really, he wasn't exactly a pleasant fellow in Japanese either. Other than the hauahaahuauauh chuckling Sabat does, the talking voice is so toned down that I honestly don't get what the big deal is.

Why does everyone assume that because one dislikes an English voice, that they automatically love the Japanese counterpart? When I read the manga, I don't really hear either voice, to be honest. It's not that the voice is necessarily a problem for the character, but it annoys me to no end, anyways. Haha. Still, nothing is worse than Kaio.

I watched the episode where Vegeta fights ReaCoom on Nicktoons last night. In terms of casual viewing and just having some fun, it was a great episode as always. My nitpicky nerd side thought a few things were off, though. Mostly how certain things were worded. Not a big deal, though.

Also, I can't wait for tonight's episode. It's the Kai version of the first episode I ever saw.

Several actors (including Schemmel) didn't come back after the first two seasons were re-dubbed, so that did have an effect on the re-dubbing. So, this is their shot to give it a whole new performance. I really want to see how the SSJ scene will go...

As long as they avoid making Goku not being redubbed in the third season a running joke (i.e. cutting and pasting old Z dub audio in), I'll be fine.

Hmmmm... I really hope they update the opening for the TV version sooner or later. Maybe they're waiting for the Super Saiyan transformation to occur. Wouldn't want to spoil the golden hair for casual newcomers.

Well, I was jokingly referring to the rerun hell the Ocean dub broadcast was caught in.

Oh, yeah, I still have those painful memories too, but I forgot that this was right around the part of the story that happened. At least if it does happen with Kai, we won't have to sit through all that filler week after week only to have our hopes crushed time and time again.
